Picking a server (Piken Square?)

Piken Square is a really nice server, with good guys and girls. You’re very likely to find someone to talk to on map chat on most ocassions, people tend to speak English all the time (we get a few non-English speaking people trying to recruit people specifically for a guild composed of people speaking their non-English language).
I have no idea about the WvW, dungeon and fractal groups, but event groups should be easy to find, as well as world bosses (depending on the boss of course). I’d say we even have pretty nice champion trains. They tell you about the stops and what to do and how and where, and only rarely do we get trolls (not talking about the Queensdale one…)
It’s a nice RP server with a lot of people just doing their RP all over the place, you can sometimes see people doing RP in places where you wouldn’t even expect it. And if you want to actively participate, there’s some hot spots (mostly taverns and pubs), so just jump in.

I’ve been on the server since release, and have had quite a pleasant time there. I recommend it.

"Mount Maelstrom" Map - Behind The Scenes

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Hello community! A guildmate has found a nifty little way of getting outside of the “normal” area of this map, and him and me have been trying to walk around Mount Maelstrom as much as possible. We managed to loop around half of the map’s outside to the left from our starting point, and less than a quarter to the right. We got pictures to prove it!

The attached ones are merely two out of 145 screenshots that I took during our journey.

Have you guys ever been “behind the scenes” of a map in GW2? How’d you get there? Got screens to prove it? Share your discoveries with us!
