In the end, it turns out the problems were on the server side. My client is OK.

E42:0:9001:3968 has not happened to me since launch. Today I keep getting it and can’t connect. I have not changed any of my router settings; The last thing I played yesterday was GW2 before turning off my PC and it is the first thing I’m trying to play today, but can’t.
Again, I have not changed any of my router settings or security applications and I am most definitely NOT on a campus network and I have not altered any files of the game.
I noticed on Facebook that the reserved names have been released. There are no name coincidences between my characters in GW1 and those from GW2.

Anyone else having this problem???
Later Edit: I have NOT linked my GW2 account to anything.

Not interested in changing servers.
Looking for a group/guild I can represent from time to time when I feel like running dungeons.
Some experience required from fellow members. GMT+3 TZ.
Caudecus’ Manor is of primary interest to me at the moment.

Title pretty much says it all.
I’m on the Gunnar’s Hold server.
24 years, Law School graduate and current Med School student, so I can pretty much guarantee seriousness… most of the time.
Not looking for anything hardcore, just a bunch of people playing 2-3 hours per day, enjoying dungeons.
My focus at the moment is CM for the Noble set+runes.
