I don’t really know if this is a bug. But it definately is some weird stuff :-)

I was running around in straits of devastation.

I saw this small cave-like entrance and tried to get in, it worked. Screenshot here
I followed it (walls are randomly disappearing inside the little cave), how ever I end up at a door. Screenshot here

I tried everything to interact with it cause it looks like it was placed there for a reason.
Nothing worked.

To my surprise I could just run through it and ended up in another enclosed area behind the door. Screenshot here
Looks like it was put there but then forgotten or something.

So nothing major, but I was disappointed when reaching the end, there was nothing there :-)

I suppose you mean the angelic themed one, with the wings on the shoulder?

That is the crafted lvl 55-65 set, accordignly named : winged Tunic, Winged Mantle,…

Currently upgrading to exotic armor, so far only the pants are the crafted gossamer exotic one, rest is rare lvl 80 armor.
And ofcourse the Mystic Broadsword

Hello there,

So I’m a lvl 80 Mesmer, and having a blast with it.
Along the way to 80 I’ve used so many weapons, and tried so many combinations, it’s hard to keep track of them all.

Now that i’m 80 it’s time to focus more on a fixed spec that suits my needs.
So I’ve been browsing and quietly stalking these fora in the hopes of finding some brilliant ideas on how to improve the build, specifically the traits.

My gear currently is all rare lvl 80 crafted berzerker gear (power/prec/crit damage%).
I’ve used Staff + Sword/Pistol for quite a while, but I feel the staff doesn’t really suit my playstyle.
Now that the GS has been buffed, I feel I should give it a try in my power build cause it might suit me better.
My weapons are currently also rare lvl 80 weapons of the berzeker.

So I’m looking for interesting trait builds to suit the GS & Sword/Pistol (or Sword/Focus) playstyle.
As my gear currently revolves around power/prec/Critdamage%, I have heavily invested into inspiration.

My Current Trait build is :
Domination : 10
Dueling : 15
Choas : 0
Inspiration : 25
Illusions 20

So if anyone would have any advice, wether it is for PvE, or PvP or WvW, don’t hesitate to reply.

I’ve noticed this issue aswell.
Yesterday I had my first big run in WvW, where there were some large battles.

I know mesmers aren’t supposed to do any real AoE, so I just focused more on the enemy backline, confusing the elementalists & rangers that were just wailing freely on our group.

Because of the distance, I have no other chance then to take the staff or the scepter, as trying to go there in melee is rahter suicidal.
Now I cast some normal basic staff attacks for random conditions, cast a choas storm, then my Iwarlock (as this is the main damage dealer in a staff-setup).
However this one just instapops. I switch to my sword/pistol setup and cast the duelist, who instapops to random AoE placed all over.

Maybe I should stick to my scepter, to create random illusions to shatter them. But I need to be at 900 range for this, which again is suicide.

So I’m a bit at a loss here, just auto-attacking is rather pointless.

Still looking for some members who want to play in a friendly, helpful & supportive environment.
We focus mainly on PvE at the moment, but have taken some trips into WvW already.

Well now … if a mob even turns around and looks threatening .. my phantasm self-destructs.

There are also traits that make your illusion cause bleeding when they crit…
On a boss fight i had a stack up of about 20 bleeds.

However I have never considered using the + condition damage and see what happens. Might be worth checking it out.

Iron Pulse is a multi-gaming clan and we have played competitively across a huge number of titles and platforms, the clan has been around for a long time and we have developed a strong core of highly skilled, helpful and friendly gamers.

Most of us have already played the beta events, and are now progressing through the game with some lvl 80’s already.
However, we are currently looking for some more players to join our ranks on
the Ring of Fire server.

Who or what are we looking for ?
We do not have a predefined ruleset for members.
Casual, completely new, hardcore, seasoned,…. are all welcome!
However, as most of our members know eachother quite a long time, and as most of us are a bit older already (past 28 years [and counting for some others hehe]) we are looking for members who are 18+ and preferably 21+ who speak English (as we have members from the UK, and the European mainland).
We do use Teamspeak (3), and we would prefer if you had a mic although not a necessity at this time. We do prefer to chat over teamspeak instead of using the in-game guild chat. Of course you could just listen in and reply ingame :-)

What is Iron-Pulse’s goal?
At the moment is getting to know the in’s and out’s of Guild Wars 2. We try to help eachother, be able to run dungeons together, do PvP & WvW.

I would be much obliged if this was an option (even paying or not).
The name I wanted was already taken seconds after pre-launch access (I was in 5 minutes after the servers opened).
