Oh this guy, pretty sure he’s hacking. He was flying over walls at SOS EB keep the other day, he’s on Yaks Bend. You can send the players information to exploits@arena.net along with screen shots and videos.
Posting here because none of the in-game report options seem to cover this. Anywhere from 1-5 hours ago, while commanding in Edge of the Mists, I (and ~5 other people in my squad) saw an enemy Mesmer suddenly appear on one of the ledges of one of the two tower-like structures in the center of the Badlands keep (above the champion). As far as any of my squad know, including me, that shouldn’t be possible, there’s no way to get up there. On the instance where we actually saw this Mesmer, they didn’t portal any of their allies in our keep because two of our scouts were stationed there (bless)- and about a minute later while at the Badlands keep reactor, we saw the same Mesmer, ehr, “hover” or “fly” and then fall to their death. Is there anything that can be done about this?
Side note: I blocked the player and took a screenshot of their account name or character name- I’m assuming submitting their name is against the rules? Not posting just in case.
You have to click through each item on the wiki to see what does/does not drop crests (and how many). It appears that the tier rewards offer 10 (odd tiers) or 40 crests (even tiers) each; the others offer nothing; the final tier appears not to drop any.
By my count, that’s a paltry total of 160 crests/track. In other words, you need a ton of PvP matches to earn enough crests to buy anything more substantial than bandit keys.
By the wiki it says I should have received my (meagre :p) ten crests. Also, this is the Edge of the Mists Reward Track I’m working on, not PvP (Unless you were using PvP as an umbrella term), I’m not sure if the WvW tracks are structured the same as the PvP tracks.
I believe the champ bag loot you get for completing each tier is what contains the bandit crests.
If this is true then I’ll stay on the track until I reach that, thanks for the info. Though, the first cache listing crests as one of the times inside should be changed if it doesn’t actually reward the items. ;w;
The Silverwastes Reward Track hasn’t given me a single Bandit Crest (EotM). Other reward tracks I’ve tried are working fine for me (AC, CM, CoF, CoE & Triumphant Armor). I’ve only reached the first reward so far (Veteran Arid Inquest Cache) and I’ve gotten everything listed, except for bandit crests. I’ve tried leaving EotM, re-logging and switching characters- but the crests just haven’t been received.
