Thank you both for the replies. I did provide the product key initially, and for whatever reason the initial tech did not use it. The ticket was escalated and a GM did in fact solve the issue.

Hi there,

I’ve been playing GW2 since the open beta events, and recently have taken a multi-month break from the game. I had mobile authentication enabled, however I no longer have access to the original mobile authentication app / codes used to enable it. I submitted my account email, as well as the pre-purchase product key given by ArenaNet. I’m not sure what else is needed to prove my identity, and Support has stated they cannot help me. I’m afraid asking to change the code after my break looks suspicious. I’m fine with not changing it immediately, but I’m worried if the client asks for the code in the near future I will be locked out forever.

Thanks for any help.

Edit: Support Ticket 295359:Mobile Authentication Problem, I’m locked out of changing the code due to a new phone

Something is up in the Bandit Caves (Queensdale)

I don’t know which patch triggered this problem, but recently the Bandit Caves are having a massive fps drop on many computers. Every time I go into the zone I ask the question in map chat and many people respond. We didn’t have these issues a few weeks ago or in the betas. I can’t seem to figure out what is it – there are a lot of torches but they don’t have this effect in other more dense areas. It is strictly the cave, once you leave it returns to normal.

I recently bought my own xbox 360 controller, and after using my own configuration for a day I tried this, which I’ve been using this week. It is great, thank you! I have modified a few things though; changed the crude dpad movement to TP, Hero, Inventory, and Esc buttons, and added autorun. I do seem to be having issues with using the 3rd set to show all NPC / friendly names. I’m not sure the exact combo of buttons but it seems to get stuck on that profile and won’t go back unless I alt tab out of the game and click on the 1st default set.

Edit: upon futher testing out of game it seems that when in the 3rd set, hitting Alt + Ctrl and then moving the right trigger resets to the 2nd set, instead of the 1st, without a way to get back. Any way to fix this?

I’m getting a new desktop soon and am torn between the GeForce GTX 560 Ti and GeForce GTX 660 Ti. To complement the video card I will have an i5 3450 3.1GHz (3.5GHz turbo) processor, 7200rpm 6mb/s HDD and 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM. I want to run max settings at a smooth 60 fps on a 1376 × 768 display. Is there anyone with either of these cards that can share their opinions / own performance?

Thanks.
