Lenny.3178 here on my husband account. My guys were Marlin and Popadopolis…It’s an epidemic I tell you,lol. I hope my 3rd ticket will be the winner and I actually get to play.

Hi I’m Lenny.3178. Kalidor is my husband’s account. I submitted 2 tickets for error code 3002 and have gotten password reset help….. My first ticket is 120901-012726 and the second one that is “restored” is 120905-004303. I just submitted yet a third ticket for error code 3002 # 120908-003503. I wasn’t hacked. I got an email saying someone was trying to change my password,so I changed my email since password resets were disabled. Had no issue before even with authenticator. Changed my email and boom,can’t log in. Submit tickets, follow all wiki instructions. My husband even posted here for me and a Dev said to do “this” and I did and submitted my second ticket. I don’t think it was even read. I’m very upset. I love this game and have jumped through the hoops they said to only to have them not help. My husband wants me to buy another game ,but I refuse to. I want to be a part of the game so bad ,but the customer service is terrible. I think it should be a requirement that they actually check the accounts after “restoring” them to make sure they work. That in itself would cut down on the tickets! Please I’m begging at this point to actually help. I feel like I have followed all the rules and after a week this should be addressed properly this time. Thank You for listening if you even are~Lenny

Yeah, her original ticket that was “fixed”…was from 9/1/12 at 9:30 am EST. It’s been a long wait for her, as many others.

Here’s to hoping it’s SOON. Soon.

She submitted one exactly as you stated on 9/5/12, basically 24 hours ago.

Just an FYI…and I realize an estimated time frame can’t be truly calculated, but you did say “prioritized”. For someone who wasn’t hacked…but only followed your directions and vigilantly changed her email account to avoid said hackers I am hoping her priority is “high”…

Here’s to hopin’, because I haven’t been playing much without her, hehe…so as not to “rub it in”

Exactly the same problem with my wife. I can’t believe this is going on so long. She wasn’t hacked or anything…just tried to change her email address (as is what arenanet suggested!) and BOOM! She hasn’t been able to play since 8/31.

Changed password, now I cant logging with the old or new password.

She received an email reply just today claiming “resolved” that included a new password for her to login with (with the new email address she created to use with her GW2 account). This password is not working. She still cannot play the game.
The error code (3002:1008:1:462) states “The email address you entered was not found. If you have an active account, please try again.”. She checked her email address and it is correct, based on what the admin’s resolution email says.
She only changed her account’s email because of suspicious emails she was receiving and that is what GW2 told her to do!
Any advice would be appreciated.

Protect yourself, create a brand new email address for GW2

But zax…my wife wasn’t compromised.
She per-empitively and vigilantly created a new email to be prophylactic.
And so…GW2 “hacked” her.
She can’t play because of some sort of glitch with this system and its advice…

Well, this is what my wife did and she has been locked out for over 3 days! So, how is this helpful???

She diligently followed this advice and it has served to prevent her from playing. Brilliant.
