To be fair Orichalcum prices were plummeting. So much that a full run of every single node in the game would barely only get 60s. That’s bad.

Considering I was lucky to make 2 runs a day with the old system, I think I’m making about the same gold wise with the once a day spawns and with half the effort. And since the overall supply has been cut fairly drastically, the market for orich should stay pretty for awhile.

It’s a shame they had to implement this on the down low as it was probably planned all along. A little communication would have gone a long way but then there are the market cornering types and the general hub bub that typically surrounds these type announcements…

Once the initial rush of people getting geared up runs out, the price of high end mats is going to go way down. This reduction in the spawn rate should help keep prices up for a while.

Had several mithril nodes disappear as I finished mining another mithril node. Definitely looks like there is some sort of cap on the amount of ore you can pull from an area.

Probably a mis-translation from developer-ese into plain english with a little obfuscation thrown in. The daily reset happens every 24 hours.

I really wish they would have said something but if they all are supposed to reset once a day, I’m cool with that. The way it was the price was about to seriously drop anyway so at least this should keep the price somewhat worth the effort of wading through all those kitten risen…

I have been watching these posts of so many people having the same issues as myself and to see that there has been no official response about this or even an acknowledgement via facebook or twiter on the matter leaves a bad taste with me and i am sure the large portion of the community it is affecting.

Yeah, it’s one thing to nerf drops and such since those things were already RNG dominated. But to take something that was once fixed and steady and put it into the RNG realm without saying a thing is kinda really lame.

I’m guessing they did change something to reduce the availability of orich nodes but it’s not working as intended and as such they won’t say anything until they know what it’s doing and how they plan on fixing it.

In early DAOC, you could pull mobs across the entire world. Naturally, people found it funny to pull level 50 mobs to the starting areas and such…
