The economy is headed for a state where new players will be powerless to purchase certain items. As the inflation grows out of control, new people will need to rely in irl friends or generous guild mates to be able to function. This will shift the game to having far less casuals playing. Like everything in the game is doing now.

Culling muddies the water of the entire thief discussion. Stealth is op. at this point I have experienced this as a fact. The sad truth is that it makes fights no fun. You can’t even enjoy getting beat if you never even got to target your opponent. This is ruining structured for people and hurting WvW. Fixing culling will help WvW. Fixing stealth will fix SPvP. Until that time i will just enjoy the limited amount of PVE content then leave and play other games until the next patch.

My issue with the RNG is one thing, but to have the boxes bugged and only send out a black lion chest as compensation is another. If a wintersday chest was bugged why not send out a wintersday chest as compensation. I am glad i got something but I wont be spending money on gems for anything but content again. And I will advise everyone in my guild to do the same.

My guild members got a mail with their not received presents. I got Jack. just mail everyone the present next year. Oh and open a test server for god’s sake. Your unpolished and ill conceived patches are ruining this game.

So I agree. I got all tonics in a reasonable amount of time and gold, but to allow them to be destroyed in the mystic forge to get the endless toymaker tonic is just cruel and stupid. Why would i want an endless tonic that i all ready have. Is this a bug? Why wont the devs answer this? We know they read this so why not say weather this was intentional. Honestly, they are missing the mark on some things when it comes to holidays.

I am encouraged by the fact that they seem to get better every holiday, but I am never buying another holiday chest after getting bugged this last time and only receiving non holiday chests as compensation.

Any response besides an infractions would be appericated.
Why do you not get experience in WvW for capturing a GARRISON if you are in a down state while fighting invaders trying to use seige to kill your allies.
Why is it that if one member drops in a dungeon that is in progress it boots all the members.

TLDR
Dyes and black lion kits should have been the sale items this weekend. Anet crocks it up again, starting to see this as a pattern.
Retail stores that sell real things that actually cost money to produce sell things as door busters that people actually want. Anet, listen to your fans, this dye drop nerf and black lion Friday sales are bad. This is coming from the people who play this game everyday. perhaps you should hold a contest or vote next year to pick the sale items, because I think most people got very little use out of this sale, unless you wanted to sell your overinflated gems back for some gold.
more money to put toward other sales.

Here is my follow up to the people who say they can do it, are you the required level to get into the explorable or are you 80 with exotics and rares at least?

I didnt read all the posts along this topic, but I have 3 points of advice for ya
1. Learn to dodge
I was right there with you at the beginning and coming form a background in WOW actually makes it more difficult to grasp the concept of a dynamic fight with no tanks and no healers. Practice on the bosses in the mist and put some real work into your technique. I find that as long as you are not running arah only 2 people need to be good to make a group functional. Be a part of that 2.
2. Interrupt
Every class has a skill that can interrupt. find the weapon set that has it and keep it on you for the tougher pulls. You would be surprised how much easier this scavengers in AC are if you simply cycle interrupts with your companions. (hint: you can interrupt them at any part of their attack not just when they appear to be charging)
3. Use the dungeon forum as a resource
You made a post here so you are off to a great start, now find members of your server or others who are willing to take some of their time to show you the more difficult paths.

I hope your experience gets better, but I can promise you that posts like these don’t help you at all.

Did a run with my guild today and ran around the entire map and gathered every orichalcium and omnomberries. after returning to lions arch I only had 7 berries (and with gathering buffs up i usually get a double tap every other one) and 6 ore. I wasn’t watching my bag as i mined but I will do so tomorrow and report back. Has anyone else experienced this issue or just me

I would like to start by saying what a great game you have created and how the guild members I am fortunate enough to have are really enjoying it. I would also like to provide some of my background so my situation is more understandable. I help run a guild with two other people while working and attending school.
Today I decided to work on recruiting more members during off peak hours since I am off from both of my previously mentioned duties. I decided to go to plains of ashford and type a very simple message saying who we are and that we are committed to providing a fun environment to master your class. I would go around the zone helping other players and completing the zone discovery. Every ten minutes or so I would post the same message to entice players to message me if interested. After the 3 time in 45 minutes I noticed that my messages were now being suppressed.
Curious, I thought, I have not been spamming as they claim, perhaps I offended someone. I will just wait a half hour and then I can continue to recruit. Two hours and three tickets later I am on these forums calling for a change.
The truth is that we all want to see a clean gaming environment for all. I want this just as much as everyone else. But in order to run a guild, you need to be able to recruit. Please fix my message ban as well as the other message bans that are unjustly leveled on people working hard to make your game better for your paying customers.

Nice! the worst part is that these clowns actually took this offer! Maguuma is now holding the cigarette for tarnished coast, while lighting it from over their shoulder. you can guess how they got in this position. Looking forward to tapping that Maguuma next time we get matched up.
