Hey, thanks for the response!
I’ll definitely consider joining your guild, your recruitment post really appeals to me
I’ll let you know soon!
Hi there!
I recently foud out I’m not an MMO player. I love RPG’s, I love MMO’s and I’ve played GW2 for about a year now with a lvl 80 and a lvl 60 character. But I’ve never really participated in the MMO part. It was mostly just solo PvE levelling. Sure, I’ve done a dungeon or two, I’ve worked together with other players on occassion (besides dynamic events where everybody pitches in), but I’ve never really been part of the community. And I feel I’m missing out on a lot of good stuff that way.
To get to the point, I’m looking for a guild that’s a friendly and helpful community.
One of the main deterrents for me when it comes to participating in any group experience is that there often seems to be a bit of an elitist thing going on: you have to get everything right or you’re a noob. I am fully aware that this also has to do with my own sensibilities: I feel attacked easily. Where other people shrug and forget about it, stuff like that demoralizes me.
Of course, this doesn’t mean I feel I deserve some kind of special treatment, but I would like to be part of a community where people have an understanding and patient attitude towards new/inexperienced players.
Doing dungeon runs with guildies, as well as participating in PvP and WvWvW together seems like a lot of fun.
So what do I have to offer in return? Well, the very same qualities I’m looking for, for starters. I’m naturally patient and friendly and I love helping other people out.
Besides that I like to think I am a competent PvE player, with a willingness (and eagerness) to learn and grow
Concerning more practical stuff: I am on the Whiteside Ridge server with two high lvl characters, so I can immediately participate in any content you guys are currently interested in
Thanks for reading and have a nice day
