Active and mature player looking for like-minded PvX guild that does not use ts. Also, preferably no more than 50-ish members, would like to get to know the people

Text above is my spam that seems to be of no use finding a guild from map chats, so here it goes in-depth:

I’m neither casual nor hardcore. I’m online pretty much everyday, so thats not very casual. I play for fun, so that rules out elitism. Striving for competence is a good thing, but it shouldn’t happen at the expense of fun/politeness.

Got a history of joining small & new guilds. Would be grand to be part of something awesome from the beginning. If the people are nice, I can and will spend a lot of time helping; answering silly questions, leading dungeon parties for first-timers etc. Sadly one such guild died anyway, so here am I again, guildless :/

Expecting to find a guild that does a lot together. Most importantly: dungeons. I’ll rather wipe with fun guildies than try my luck with the LFG-tool. Occasional pvp can be fun too, and even Silverwastes farms gains a little something from the right company. Now, I also do WvW somewhat often, but mostly if/when nothing better is happening in the guild. Guild is always the priority. On GH at the moment; wouldnt mind finding a PvX guild from the same server, but its not a requirement.

Oh right, TS. Voice coms of any kind split the guild in half: those who use it and those who don’t. Too often the former clique ignores the latter. Been there, suffered that.

But do you guys have players online outside primetime? Its a silly feeling, being only one online in a guild during afternoons/early evenings.

An old (yet still cute) engineer who spends most of her time in wvw-maps looking to become social again after a period of guildlessness.

Despite my wvw-focus I’d like a guild that does a bit of everything. “True” wvw-guilds think so highly of themselves, I’ve no interest hanging with elitists. I might be experienced & rich enough to be kitteny too, that’s just not my style. I’m too shy for that kind of attitude :/

So, it’s new friends I’m after. Anything goes, as long as people are social/fun/nice/polite/insert-cliche-here. And yes, I’m fully aware that this is asking for the moon from the sky; The Most Perfect Guild Ever. I guess this attitude comes from the engineer’s habit of shooting from the hip: it’s easy to aim high :P But anyway, ain’t that what we all want, the last guild ever to be joined?

Now comes a paradox: I don’t want to join a huge guild where I’d be just a number among others. Yet I’d like there to be people online also outside the primetime.
Its sad to be the only guildie online during afternoons and early evenings (GMT +3), but so is remaining unknown and unnoticed in the middle the of the crowd. Cant say where the balance actually lies, suggestions?

P.S.

Got an epic guild outside RoS? Well fudge, since I can’t afford to change server at the moment. Plus the trip back is as expensive if things don’t work out, so… yeah. Curse you, gem prices! Also, I’d just feel guilty for abandoning RoS after all this time spent under her banner…

I’m also looking for a guild in Surmia, and I was hoping to find some guilds answering this thread. Indeed amazing how no RoS guilds have advertisements on the Guild Recruitment.

I blocked this wvw-commander because I’ve had it with his attitude. But the thing is, still I see him being rude through the “/me” chat command.

So, please include these custom chat commands to the Block functionality.

Funny, I keep seeing this Norn engineer everyday, no matter where I go.

I’d say engineer is the least played as main character, though.
