This is really a bad idea and will certainly have a negative effect on the large number of players in the WvWvW communities which occupy OCX and SEA time zones.
These players could potentially get bored or apathetic towards the game if only half of their weekend playtime becomes a forgone conclusion or even just relegated to a karma train.
If it is not too late, I suggest rethinking this until the full effect across time zones and different types of play is properly understood. I for one love that there is a great OCX and SEA population for the game, and I know there are servers who would give a limb for more of these players to cover their nap-time.
