Oh my word that gave me a giggle. How do you manage to make charr faces so expressive? Do you have one to study? ….erm, cats, I mean. Obviously, studying charr may result in loss of life and limb…
I have 2 cats! They like to think that they’re charr though.
Somehow, I think Zakkit would find books were great with a side of steak…
Despite being a true grunt of the Blood Legion, she decided to test your theory.
However, it has been noted that future testing should be left to the asura… Or anyone else really.

Thanks all! Sorry for the delayed response, I don’t check the forums as often as I should. (Oops). Most of my art is posted to my Tumblr, katnaxel.tumblr.com ,if you guys wanted to see more though!
Also, I guess I’ll add more pictures since I’m here. Thank you all so much for the compliments, I’m going to die of bashfulness.
1. Brothers – Commission for teodsgw2 (tumblr) and their sylvari, Ciar & Rian
2. Baby Zakkit – A quick doodle of my charr as a cub, because why not.
3. Two & A Half Charr – Commission for twomanycharr (tumblr) of their sister charr, Tesia & Eris.
So I’m not really sure where to put these, so I figured I’d make my own thread for my art work. It’s all pen/ink and pencils… So yeah. Here we go.
1. Braedinth & Nysa – a doodle of a guildie’s mesmer and my necromancer.
2. Bellafion – My friend’s necromancer
3. Zakkit Steelmane – My charrdian
I post most of my art on Tumblr, and it can be found under the tag #leif draws or #katnaxel commissions

I love the colors on her, and really like the white and gold combo (between her and her armor). I can see why you’d want to work on the pants though, because they don’t seem to mix in well with everything else. But, with that aside,
8/10.
Here is my lvl80 Thief, Leifucius. It’s just the Prowler medium armor set. Nothing too fancy. He uses a pistol/dagger combo, but for some reason those weapons tend to “float” on the hips he doesn’t have… it’s depressing…
Cuileann Darach – 8/10. It’s very creative and I find it original.
My Theif (m) is Leifucius (Lay-few-see-us)
My Necro (f) is Braedinth (Brr-aye-dinth)
And I basically “hand-vomited” (a term my friend and I came up with, it basically means we close our eyes and slap our hands on the keyboard) and added vowels where it seemed appropriate lol.

All I want to do is be able to use in-game gold to buy the same town clothes that all the NPCs are already wearing.
That is precisely what I’m getting at! I would probably go broke buying Town Clothes if the option were available to be honest. Even still, being able to wear what the NPC’s have (and being able to Mix-and-Match it), or to even have a few other wacko styles thrown in there, it’d be great.
You do have a point though, about how limiting all other style options to the BLTC in order to help turn a profit. As annoying as it is, it’s business 101… Still, I like to see the cup half-full on rare occasions, and maybe if we get enough people it can be done? Maybe?
Members of Anet/Guild Wars 2, as well as fellow Guild Wars 2 players,
I have a suggestion that I really think you guys should look into.
My suggestion is this:
Like Tier Armor vendors that sell Race-Based armor within the five main cities/starting zones, there should be similar vendors for RP/Town Clothes.
Think about it.
For example, one of my characters is a Sylvari. As dashing as he is, the only Sylvari-themed clothing I have for him is what his default Town Clothes are, and the only way I can get any variety from that is to purchase either Tier Armor and/or the Cook’s outfit from the Black Lion Trading Company…That’s not really a lot of options in my opinion… Sure I can dress my Sylvari up in the same furs and leathers like any other race because it’s cheaper and more available… But I believe that if there were a vendor in The Grove that my dashing little plant-man could utilize to buy a variety of leaves to mix-and-match for his Town Clothing (so, no specs or anything fancy besides how the outfit/clothing actually looked) I would. I feel that many other players and RPers would do the same.
And this isn’t just limited to Sylvari! A Town Clothes Vendor for each Home Starting Zone! The Norn can have a choice of awesome furs, the Humans can have a variety of renaissance-themed dresses and such, the Asurans can deck themselves out in only the flashiest and technologically advanced fashion to date, and the Charr… Only the best for those fuzzy lugs!
I seriously think this should be a thing. Granted, I’m sure someone can come up with a better name than “Town Clothes Vendor” (the first thing that comes to mind is “Fashionista” and I have no idea why…) but hey, it’s a start, right?
