There is a small difference, which helps…but not enough of a difference for me to feel completely comfortable playing with it yet. A step in the right direction but I would like to see a bit more FOV as an option and to have the camera NOT point so low so I could see over my character a bit more instead of through it.

If you dodge roll at a certain point of auto attacking, the next auto attack begins and will stop your dodge roll prematurely. It also roots you in place for the duration.

Video examples of exactly that They are relatively easy to replicate if you time it right. None of the dodges in the video are full duration dodges, nor do they make the character move a full dodge roll distance…often not at all.

I would really like to see a FOV slider as well. Currently I can’t really play the game for more than 20 minutes without feeling vertigo or nausea :/

Also add a FOV slider please! I can’t play GW2 for too long before feeling dizzy and have to take a break just to get the headache away.

Oh my god the FOV and camera smoothing makes me sick if I play too long. I almost even considered uninstalling immediately when I saw the FOV and forced camera movement smoothing. No self respecting game should have neither one of those forced and un-changeable.

I hate being stuck with the ugly blur effect as I dodge. Some people might like it, but for me it is distracting and I prefer not to have that forced on my character.

Allow us to have pve armour appearance in spvp

I think you can through the PvP locker, then just transmute the appearance to the PvP gear. I’d assume it works.

If you make an elementalist human female, and you remove the dyes from the clothing while in the game (the erase tool in the dye selection window) the game crashes every time you finish removing the dyes and try to close the hero window.

Staff and shield could use a change, very limited weapon options.

Are you speaking in PvE terms or PvP? Because the hammer and shield are rediculously good in PvP, to be honest i would never drop the shield for another offhand just because of the utility it brings.

As for the staff I wouldn’t use it anywhere but in pve or wvw, I will say this though channel 4 swap and use 2 on hammer in a fire field for 15 stacks of might is pretty amazing.

Yea the might stack with hammer is great, but the inability to do anything while channeling usually puts me in a worse position afterwards in PvP than if I had not used it. I only use it as an opener if I can surprise someone…never in the middle of a fight.

As for the shield, I can see how it can be useful in mitigating 5 seconds of damage, but what do you do for the next 30-45 seconds when your entire weapon is on cooldown and 8 seconds to wait to swap back to hammer/Greatsword?

I don’t know if I’m the only one, but the shield having only two abilities which both have a +30s cooldown makes having a shield a bit tricky. The 5 second protection and a few second projectile bubble effectively give you two situational abilities that can most of the time only be used once in a fight….after that the shield sits there useless on cooldown doing nothing.

The staff having practically no damage, one good buff (that immobilizes you for 4 seconds and you can’t do anything) and a ward that ALSO immobilizes you (why?) as you cast it, makes the staff not the best choice of weapon in PvP. We are left with the choice of hammer, GS and sword+torch. Three options that work relatively well, but with the very limited amount of weapons we can wield, it makes my Guardian feel very limited and that I don’t have many options in choosing my weapons. In comparison to thieves, warriors or elementalists the Guardian has a VERY small pool of weapons to use.

Anyone else feel like this?

The tooltips say, that they “create a line or a circle that, foes trapped inside, cannot cross”. But they can, very easily so…by just jumping.

I kept seeing enemies passing right through my wards, and saw them simply jumping over them.

I like the idea behind these spells a lot, but they don’t really work consistently enough to be viable in a PvP setting.

I use both of those spells and the effects work fine for me. What video card and drivers are you using? System specs help in situations like this.

GTX 560 Ti Overclocked and driver version is 304.79
Are you sure they work perfectly 100% of the time? Try testing it around people who are fighting, that seems to bug those effects more consistently than sitting idle somewhere. If this is a client side issue, how could I fix it? It really bothers me in combat. :S

EDIT: updated to the latest beta drivers, didn’t solve the issue

There are a list of spells and abilities that do not often show their respected effects or particle effects, which creates a lot of confusion in a very tight combat situation as you are not given feedback if the ability/spell has triggered. Often leading into ghost spells being cast that you did not see or abilities going on cool down simply because you had to re-check if you had pressed the button while the spell/ability is already active for only a few seconds.

Next is a video showcasing two spells/abilities that should show effects, but fail to do so both in combat and non-combat situations. The visual effects are not applied to allies nor the player correctly, even though the boons are applied or the spell has triggered AND is doing damage.
