The Impact Slam ability tooltip currently shows the same damage as the #1 ability. The damage done to gates is also the same as the #1 ability.

Okay, thanks all! I guess I’ll be returning my 2nd GTX 970 as it has made no difference to FPS/performance.

I really appreciate everyone’s help!

I have also tried disabling/re-enabling SLI with no noticeable increase in FPS.

Does anyone else have any other recommendations, or can possibly share your setup and FPS readings so I can compare to see if maybe my expectations are higher than they should be?

Thanks. I changed the frame limiter to Unlimited and set the Character Model Limit/Quality to Medium.

Currently I’m at the Fire Elemental event waiting for it to start and getting ~40 FPS.

Hello all!

I am seeing less-than-expected performance/FPS given my current setup and I was hoping someone may be able to provide some assistance.

First, here is my current configuration:

• Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 – All latest updates
• Intel i5-2500K (Turbo boost set to 4.6)
• (2) EVGA GTX970 SSC (configured to run in SLI)
• NVIDIA Driver version 353.06
• ASRock P77 Extreme4Gen3 Motherboard
• 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600
• Seasonic 620W Bronze+
• SAMSUNG EVO 840 SSD

I have followed the guidelines in the following post:

I am still seeing low FPS in world boss events.

Is there anything else I’m missing that may be contributing to this? I’ve tried parking and unparking cores, reinstalling video card drivers and all other drivers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Janson. My mailbox wasn’t full, but I did log in this morning and saw that the item had sold and there was 3g and change to be picked up at the Trading Post.

This occurred yesterday while there was a problem with the BLTC and Login Servers. I’m guessing that the item posted, but didn’t display in the “Items I’m Selling” window due to whatever was going on at that time.

Good news is that it appears to have actually gotten posted and sold.

Just tried to sell Zhed’s Gloves on the Trading Post and after about 30 seconds I got an “Error Attempting to Sell”. The gloves did not show back up in my inventory and were not listed on the Trading Post. Can someone please restore the item back into my inventory so I can attempt to sell these again? That’s about a 3.6g loss. =[

You sure it’s not come back to you in the last tab of the trading post?

I’ve have not noticed this problem on my ranger. I always use F3 first to have it disengage, then press 3 to have it start healing me.

I’ll pay more attention to it, but I haven’t seen it not heal me unless I don’t disengage it first.

I used to think it was not helpful. I put a few pieces on that I made and headed out to do events in Orr and did not find a single rare/exotic drop for over an hour of doing several events (not just running back and forth between the 2 events on either side of the tunnel).

Then, after the most recent patch, I decided to try again. This time I made myself Masterwork quality armor (since I’m pretty sure it has the same % of MF as the rare/exotic armor) and wore a full set. I also picked up MF weapons, accessories and runes. I grabbed a Superior Sigil of luck for my main hand weapon also.

I have seen that it does have an impact now. That’s not to say that you’ll see a rare item drop every time Penitent Shelter is up, but you’ll definitely see an increase in rare drops. Just don’t expect them to be raining from the sky.

I’ve also heard there are diminishing returns on MF after a while. I don’t know what this means, but the way it was said to me made me think that after doing events in a certain area for an extended period of time, MF starts to decrease. Since I don’t “farm” for long periods of time, I can’t say whether or not this is true.

I liked it. I have a couple of questions.

1. Is there a specific reason you use the axe with the torch instead of the sword? Bonfire + Hornet Sting gives a fire damage shield if I remember correctly?

2. What sigil is providing the proc that has the earth shards shooting up from the ground?

3. What’s your current build?

4. How important is Pain Inverter to your overall success? 5 seconds of Retailiation and Confusion on a 30 second timer is pretty nice.

5. What gear type do you run with (Power/Precision/Toughness, etc…) and what runes do you use in them?

I think that’s all the questions I have for now. Nice video, I enjoyed watching it!
