I really do like your suggestions, you’ve put a lot of thought into them while considering the possible downsides (which most people don’t).
However I do agree with djaddi in that PVP/WvW would likely see some issues with this. Conditions in PVP/WVW aren’t really a problem, but I have to say making those changes exclusive to PVE (Perhaps making Mob dependant changes) would be a fantastic idea.
There is however still the issue of condi damage being greatly limited on large fights such as Tequatl etc.
I do hope Anet take what you’ve said into consideration, because condi in PvE is laughable, and it has very limited uses.
Same Problem here I’m afraid, completed before patch, seed was in bank as a “cultivated seed”, after patch it was turned into a “pet seed”
One of the suggested problems with F2P games is paying for cosmetics, typically P2P games offer cosmetics through the use of in-game currency.
Why not have an optional subscription of the standard fee of 9.99 a month where the player is given a nice Cosmetic bundle each month?
So for example the new costumes, maybe 1 piece of new dyes, new minis, and perhaps a random item such as a total makeover kit. It could even be possible to give loyal customers who have x amount of payments in a row additional prizes. Not only would this likely bring in more money, it would remove the F2P disadvantages of paying high amounts for new cosmetics separately.
Thoughts?
I’ve decided to just change my characters armour to green and what not instead, a bit easier :P
Sorry colourblind :P I have the Synergetic ones.
Sorry if this is the wrong topic, I couldn’t find a relevant one.
Right basically I accidentally made a Synergetic Spinal Blades (Yellow One) Instead of the Dynamic (Blue) one, is there any way to change the colour now? I heard you could split it using a trans splitter (unlikely but I give it a try, waste of money). Anyways is there any recipe to change the colour? Really didn’t want the yellow one So I’m rather disappointed in my mistake :/ Nor do I have enough blade pieces to make another.
Oh my days.. Yep it was ironically the Administrator issue, my current account is actually an Administrator, however running a program (In Windows) “As Administrator” gives it more privileges compared to normal (So I seems :P ) Thanks for the reply guys
Thanks, I have not tried these methods yet (silly me should be the first thing I did xD) I’ll give them a go now and let you know the results
Whenever I try to take screenshots I get the following: “Your Screenshot folder is full”. Alas my screenshot folder has no images inside it, upon deleting the “Screens” folder it doesn’t get recreated.
I believe I know the problem, I migrated my GW2.dat file over from my external hdd (where it was originally installed) to my new SSD. This saves time on me re-downloading which I really don’t fancy, I’ve performed this task several times with no issues. However there’s this screenshot problem now :P
I’m guessing the file path of the screens folder, is incorrect in accordance with the config settings on gw2, I presume these were stored in the local.dat file however I guess I’m wrong. Is there any way to ammend this, can I change the filepath myself somehow?
Thanks in advance.
Bump this, I agree although the gap is compensated for the shoulder piece, it is way too much, it’s better to have to little of a gap than too much because without the shoulders this armour looks pathetic due to backpieces.
The shoulders stick out quite far, perhaps making them more inwards and then reducing the gap will really help this.

Farmed Since release, opened beyond 50 chests (gave up counting) no claim ticket, got a Mini Kasmeer and some 5s skins about it.
They actually removed the feasible option for farming crates when they reduced the Skelk population, there is a method for farming black lion keys. I managed to get a Molten Ticket.
Hi Anet, a lot of the community are complaining about the rng based systems for drops on event based skins, such as the molten skin weapons and the Screlite weapons. I have thought up of two alternative systems which are still rng, but will however provide a fairer chance to players, without resulting in lower sales.
Currently the rng system means a player can open their first crate or chest and get a claim ticket for a weapon skin, others however may not get it until their 100th. This is a very unfair system, although it does mean players will buy gems it results in a very low customer satisfaction when they get mats only worth 20s in total.
Here are two suggested systems which won’t reduce gem sales, but will result in better customer satisfaction.
System 1 Luck Increase – At a default of 0 crates/chests being open the player has the same chance of getting a ticket as any other player, after opening x amount of crates/chests the player is x% more to get a weapon claim ticket. After the player has a weapon claim ticket, the “:Luck Bonus” resets.
Here is an example: after the player opens 10 crates with no weapon claim ticket, the chances of them getting a weapon claim ticket increases by 10%, once the player has opened another 10 the chance increases by another 10% up to a cap of 50%. If the player receives a ticket, put this bonus back to 0%.
System 2 Many Tickets – Rather than having an exceptionally rare single ticket from crates or chests, have more common tickets that drop. However make it so the weapons require 25 tickets for example to exchange them for a skin. This will result in greater customer satisfaction as they’re likely to receive something back, if a player is already half way through achieving a weapon claim ticket, they’re far more likely to buy gems for a “shortcut” rather than farming in conventional ways.
Oh also with regards to the unbreakable harvesting tools, could they be made permanently account bound? Rather than soulbound on use, all harvesting tools are account bound only, why should these be any different? If they were permanently account bound more players are also likely to invest gems in them.
If you like any of these systems, or if you have any suggestions to better improve them please leave a like and a comment
If an Anet employee reads this, please pass it on as a recommendation,
Kind Regards

Statistically speaking iv put as many hours into Southsun Farming as possible, since release (I have no life), these skins go really well with Arah armor so I want one badly, yet it is impossible/ exceptionally unlikely.
Since southsun has been nerfed on farming too, my odds of getting a ticket has vastly reduced, if your going to introduce something at least make it possible for everyone to do if they put enough work into it… (so angry)
Iv been thinking the same thing tbh, it’s unfair to provide a single ticket at such a low low rate. Iv been farming southsun since forever and from the looks of it I will get no reward, with a ticket in each box or even a 10% of a ticket in each box and needing 25 for a full reward would ensure you can get something out of it.
Fair enough xD Won’t argue with maths :P
I know for a fact it was a 1 in 50 for the Flameheart chest, this was from statistics provided by 100s of users. It’s likely to be the same for this, i’ve also seen a lot of videos and results of people opening 50 and getting 1 ticket
There’s a 1 in 50 chance apparently, almost all that I know of have got a ticket before the 50.
Hi I’ve been farming Southsun crates since the release, I’ve opened over 50 crates, any money iv made has been converted towards gems for more crates. I still haven’t recieved a weapon claim ticket, I know it’s a rng based system, but the odds of not having one by now are very very unlikely. Is there a possibility of a bug on this?
+1 for yellow circles instead of red, died so many times due to colour-blindness and these red circles
My Necromancer in possibly one of the highest places in the game, can you guess where :P (she’s practically in the clouds)
The effects of objects changing size when picked up usually makes me laugh, but this one was hilarious!
