ah, thanks a lot dude. im really its all this living story content that’s making my game crash, since i’m reading that a lot of people are experiencing crashes (even if they’re different) during this event. :X

put in a ticket? i’m not usually on the forums so i have no idea what that means. :X

ah thanks man, yeah i hope a moderator see this and gives me a more clear answer of why my toon won’t load.

its a budget computer, but for over a year it’s been doing great and i’ve had no problems with it up until a few days ago.

i5 2320 processor
8gb ram
radeon hd 6850

yeah, its really weird. he just logged on and moved my toon to divinity’s reach, and he had no problem with it. and now that he’s moved my toon i’m able to log in on him as well, but i’ve done this before and i know its only a temporary fix until the game crashes on him again. and yes, reinstalling is my last option as it is a huge download that i’m not really patient for.

i wanted to see if there was any alternative fixes before i completely reinstalled the client.

as for my isp, it’s not that great but it was always enough to play the game. this problem started happening a few days ago right before the new patch. and i figured that isp wouldn’t be the cause of my game crashing horribly, especially since i can load other toons.

so lately when i played, my game would crash whenever i tried loading my main toon which was in brisban wildlands. it crashed every time. so i figured it was something to do with being in brisban wildlands, but now it crashes whenever i load my main toon no matter what area he’s in. he’s been stuck in kessex hills and i can’t select him without the game crashing, yet i can select another toon in kessex hills and she’ll load just fine, no crash.

has anybody encountered this issue and have a solution for this? :[ i’ve asked my friend to load him on his computer and move him somewhere else, like divinity’s reach, and that worked once before. so i know its an issue with my computer, but i just don’t know how to fix it.

its strange though, for my computer, when the game crashes, it CRASHES. there’s no error notification that pops up or any pop-up that says i lost connection to the server, the game literally freezes and i always have to end up closing it through my task manager. and the issue where it freezes in certain areas (i.e. brisban wildlands or kessex hills) raises a concern for me. my thief is stuck in kessex hills because i cant log in on him and port him to another location, or the game will freeze. however, if i get on another toon and log in and she’s in a place like divinity’s reach, the game loads just fine. this happens repeatedly and i’m wondering if it’s the patch.

Right before this new patch came out today, my game has been suddenly crashing every time i get about 5-15 minutes into playing. It freezes my whole computer and the prompt for sending a crash report doesn’t even show up. In fact, almost every time after it crashes, my computer blue screens and reboots. I’d attach a crash report on here but the prompt for one doesn’t even show up anymore. I’m curious if anybody else’s game has been freezing and crashing after this Lion’s Arch Under Attack patch was released… :[ I don’t know what to do.

Another issue I was having was that my game could crash instantly when I tried going to Brisban Wildlands. My toon ended up being placed in there, but every time I tried to play with that character, the game would crash. I had to ask a friend to move that toon out of Brisban to Divinity’s Reach on HIS computer so I was able to log in on that character.
