So I’ve spent my time since the launch of HoT trying to craft Dusk for crafting Twilight and it seems like there’s a bug that’s preventing me from finishing up vol. 1 of the collection. I’ve collected 14/15 of the items required, but I can’t seem to get “Modniir’s Ruin” after killing Modniir Ulgoth in Harathi Hinterlands. Instead, I get a different item named “Overlord’s Defeat” when looting the chest. I’ve tried killing Ulgoth twice and got the same result both times. Some other people around me who were also working on precursor crafting also had the same problem. Not sure if this is a bug or not but it sure seems like one to me.

I don’t think its RNG based, because all the other items in the collection for making the precursor was 100% drop rate. Also, I killed ulgoth again just now and just like the first time, Modniir’s ruin didn’t drop, but instead i got an item called “Overlord’s Defeat”. Maybe Anet just got the item in the collection wrong?

So I’m working on crafting the precursor for twilight and one of the requirements for the first part of it is to kill Modniir Ulgoth and loot Modniir’s Ruin from his chest afterwards. I just killed him and didn’t get the item. A lot of other players around me who were working on precursor crafting had the same problem. Not sure if this is a bug or not.
