As someone who is once again playing and loving a lot of the classes, I’m wondering what it is exactly that will make each class (especially with the elite additions) unique in raids and why they would be desired. My knowledge is pretty limited of what each class is capable of regarding boons and combo finisher utility.
For example: Revenants can bring boon duration and decent might, healing, and fury boons while putting out good damage
I had the same problem, I kind of followed the advice above about kiting them just for lols. The Bane Gladiator with the mace and shield randomly stopped attacking and went out of combat and wandered to the side of the arena. I killed the other 2 that were left alive, then killed that one, and it continued perfectly fine. It could have been a random coincidence or there could be a connection to the problem somehow.
Can confirm this worked for me. Just kept running until the gladiator stopped and i was far enough not to continue aggro and killed the ones still following then the gladiator.
Planning on going a heavy crit build using P/P and shortbow and sometimes switching to S/P. I already use D/D in PvP so I figured this looked like a good route to go. Range is extremely valuable in PvE it seems especially with all the utility a thief can bring combined with the running around required.
This leaves me stuck in choosing between 2 armor sets:
Power/Precision/CritDamage and Toughness/Power/Precision
Any recommendations? Is the influence of range enough to warrant not getting toughness? Is crit damage actually even worth it?
It’s a stun that isn’t broken by stun break with a very short cooldown compared to other elite skills. With venom builds it can AoE but also more importantly lasts 2 strikes with the end critical trait. It is excellent in burst combat(granted thieves guild is better) while roaming in sPvP, arguably the thief’s best role. It may not be the best elite skill but it is definitely not useless.
