Ok, so awkward wall of text approaching!

I am 22, a woman (yes, we exist on the internet) and from England. I have 3 cats and I work in retail. I dye my hair red and have a freakish addiction to Coca-Cola.

Personality wise, i’m quite ‘eclectic’, you’ll love me or hate me. I’m shy but at the same time, i’m friendly and chatty.

I’m new to GW2, and I’ve never played GW1. I bought the game a month ago, but never really gelled well with it, and was a bit lost. But this week I got norovirus and as I’ve been off work, and I am still off work as I speak (but I am feeling a lot better now yay) – I picked up the game again and I’ve been really enjoying it, I’ve gotten a bit confused at times, but now I know how to gather and use the auction house. (proud noob moment)

I have a level 22 Guardian now – i’m not in a rush. And a couple of level 1-2 alts. I havn’t tried any WvW or PvP yet – I’m pretty terrible at it anyway, I just play for fun. I like PvE mostly, doing those random quests that pop up and getting achievements.

I work shift hours (any time between 6 am and 9.30pm) so I can’t commit myself 100% to scheduled activities as my shifts change every week and I don’t normally know what i’m working during the following week until the day before.

I am looking for a mature guild, with a more laid back attitude. I’m quite chatty, so be warned. I don’t like to play in silence.

I don’t speak any other language but English, so obviously an International or UK based guild would be better for me.

I will have a look at it, I know the SSD is on top of the HDD so that might just be the issue. But the noise makes me jump because I keep thinking my PC is about to die.

It is most definitely coming from inside my computer.

I literally just bought the game a few hours ago, and I logged in and after about 30 seconds I had some weird lines across my screen. I changed some settings and it temporarily disappeared, but every so often they come and I have to change my graphics down to low, and back to high.

My PC also randomly makes a weird clicking noise, but only when I play GW2 (wow works fine, and the sims 3, but both are on my SSD, and GW2 didn’t fit on it.)

I’ve just logged back in, and as soon as my character appeared on the screen after I logged in, I heard the weird clicking noise. So it isn’t exactly random, it happens on certain occasions e.g logging in/out, when I stop talking to an NPC or exit the options etc. It’s also started happening sometimes when im right clicking to move the camera angle.

I had to format drive E (my 2tb drive manually, as it wasn’t done when built… and I just followed the instructions to do that.)

I did a driver check, and it says they are all up to date… which i’d expect as my PC is new.

My PC is less than 2 weeks old, and I spent a LOT of money on it.
