I’m having the very same problem, Event Id 1002 Application Hang, it happens randomly I will get a static noise sound my game will freeze I have to Ctrl alt delete out and actually reboot. I have uninstalled, updated graphics drivers, re installed the client, I have tried almost everything, and Although this seems to be affecting a lot of people, there are very few forums. Can Arena Net please look into a fix for this? we love the game and just want to be able to play it

Also I’ve tried antivirus, administrative mode, pretty much everything I can find and it still happens and I don’t know what to do. I"m unable to really enjoy the bigger areas of this game because its completely unreliable
