Made an in-game bug report about this a couple of days ago, but thought I should also post here. I am also experiencing clipping with the ancestral outfit.

I purchased a bugged outfit from the gemstore. I reported the bug, but given how long it takes for bugs to get resolved, I want a refund of either the money I used to buy the gems or the gems I used to buy the outfit. I was told that “there is no way to remove” an unlocked outfit from my account, and therefore it is “impossible” to provide me with a refund of any kind. I do not believe it is “impossible.” I have been told that I may be able to find a suitable resolution by posting here. Thanks.

Caveat emptor. I did not notice the hip clipping bug on my human before buying. I absolutely hate it and requested a refund. They responded saying they will not honor the refund. Needless to say, I will not be buying anything more from the gemstore until this gets fixed.

Did your buy the gems with real money or with ingame gold?

If real money, I’m pretty surprised at that answer and suggest you post your ticket number in the Account forum. If you bought it with ingame gold, then it’s truly caveat emptor as they apparently (from comments on other threads) can’t track purchases of gems from the mass of gems for gold. They apparently can only track purchases of gems directly bought and then purchases of items bought with these gems.

Even if they can see you bought the item (with gold for gems) they can’t give back gold as they don’t know how much gold a player used to but the gems and I suspect they can’t give you gems because the only gems support has access to is the gems bought with real money. Policy probably doesn’t allow them to exchange these for gold bought gems.

I wasn’t thrilled to find the large hole on the sides of the female outfits. :/

Honestly, I was shocked that they would do nothing, as well. At least meet me halfway and refund me the gems. Then I might be able to buy something not so buggy. For the record, yes, I did use real money. Looks like I’m the fool for doing so. $10 lesson learned.
