I’m glad there really are people who feel the same way as I do. I honestly don’t think that this change would be very hard and I feel like there are plenty of us who would like it. The personalization would be awesome. Fyrebrand you are so eloquent. This is exactly what I was talking about and trying to get across. Thank you. And Terrin, This Guild Wars 2 so it should be better than Guild Wars. This little change will make it leaps and bounds better in my book. Indoles, let’s make them respond. Hello my name is Kexx.
Today I decided to roll a ranger, with the most exciting part being collecting all the pets. I named my starting Bear after my boyfriend Tyler and then was determined to name all of my pets after people I actually know who fit the animal I have. So I was going along all fine until I get this juvenile pig. It asks me if I want to make it my primary companion or whatever and I say yes with the intention of naming it after my old boss, but when it switches there was already a name there: Tyler. My boyfriend was suddenly a pig. when I switched my bear back to the front it’s name was Juvenile Brown Bear again like when I first got him. I was physically upset to the point where I thought about deleting this character and never playing a ranger again.
What I’m suggesting here is that when you name a pet it sticks even when you switch it out or put it into storage. I know it’s a little frivolous and other people couldn’t care less, but I do care. I think that there are others who might care as well. I don’t know how hard it would be to do that, but I would love for you guys to at least try. I’m sure I’m the not only one who would appreciate that little bit of personalization in this awesome game you’ve got here.
