Depending on which Knight’s pieces you have instead of Zerker (like if you had chest and legs as Knight’s) that would drop your damage a bit. Also using oelbrak Runes instead of Ruby Orbs would drop your damage bit.

Your traits are fine, either that build or 30/0/0/10/30 brings the most damage

thanks for the reply! i chose 30/25/0/0/15 mainly cause of the -20% recharge time for GS and spear skills, which really saved me in many situations

Hey guys, i mainly just use my warrior for wvw’ing, dungeons and farming(which is pretty much everything, lol) i wanted a bit more survivability so i used a few knights gear and berserkers gear and stacked it up 6 hoelbraek runes and realised my dmg is compelete crap (or im doing it wrong), currently my traits are 30/25/0/0/15. Using GS and Rifle.

Anyways, what my main point is, ive used full berskers before and just didnt like the fact that i died too quickly(L2P lolol) but loved how quick things dropped, regardless, do you guys have a build that allows me to dish out significant dmg and still retain some survivability?

I think all these angry posts sound quite ridiculous. Here are my thoughts!

-First: Anet stated last November that Ascended gear was supposed to be in game at launch, but didn’t make it do to budget and time constraints.

-Second: There is NO higher tier content being added with ascended weapons. Meaning you don’t even need them for any part of the game other than just having them with their MINIMAL stat increase. If you don’t want one, don’t craft one. It will not matter.

-Third: This is not a GearTreadmill nor is it a ItemSpiral. Those occur when new tiers are added every 2-4 months. It has now been over a year and we don’t even have a full tier added ( just rings, back pieces, trinkets and the soon to be weapons).

The thought of rage quitting a game over a new tier weapon with a tiny stat increase just sounds absurd. Do people expect Anet to still just hand out weapon skins 5 years down the road? I love new skins, but skin wars 2 won’t survive. People will not care in 5 years when they have over 600 new weapon skins in their bank. I think they have found a great balance to please both types of players. New tier for those who wont better stats but minimal enough so that no one needs them to appeal to those who don’t want them.

in the end I feel really bad for everyone who has or will rage quit. When all is said and done, I think Anet is doing a great job here. The game is growing, changing and in my opinion getting better with age. I feel bad for everyone who will miss out and such a great MMO down the road.

I don’t have one overall build that I suggest to you. There’s still a lot of testing/playing around out there, so you might want to try out what fits your play style more. A lot of my guildies are adamant in keeping their GS in their rotation while others run [DnT]’s new warrior build.

Again, there is not one solid 100% correct warrior build out there yet, so don’t feel like you have to run one of these two builds. So yeah, see which build fits your play style the best (It might not even be any of the two build links I posted). Keep your eyes open on the warrior forums and also try things out yourself.

Full Zerker (trinkets, weapons and armor)generally add ruby orbs or scholar.

Traits
Daul wield, GS mastery, berserker might
V, forceful greatsword
anything really for discipline, try the signet colldown

My utilities are: Healing Surge, FGJ,Signet of might, a banner or OMM. Signet of rage or warbanner. Signet for clearing trash, banner for boss.

Sigils: GS of night, Axe of +%damage vs family, mace of night. Good for all dungeons.

Ive seen some threads about low population servers, personally being in ISJ it isnt much of a problem but for others, being in a low population server must be quite demotivating . What if A-net decided to merge 2 servers together(accounts and everything), would it even be possible? or even a good idea? discuss

well i havent played since xmas event really and i max leveled my theif but i realised its horrible for farming and PVE, so im ready to start a new character, i was thinking archer, but im not too sure! suggestions please guys! thanks!

In terms of gear:
Fractals – ascended rings and backpieces, rng/grind.
CoF – berserker exotics of all kinds, some dungeon grind but easy dungeon.

Me and most other dungeon masters believe that full berserker equipment is a no-no for most dungeons (or rather: there are some that don’t punish you that hard), making the AC armor set the basis on which you can develop your build the way you want with weapons and jewelry.

As the title states, which is better for armour/gear? i havent played since halloween event, so far from looking up the wiki, fractals only has rings..? not too sure whats going on
