Khaos Ensis: Warr – Khaos Verpa: Necro
Khaos Caedis: Ranger – The Beard of Khaos: Guard
Ok, this may have been addressed elsewhere, but I cannot seem to find it…
Why is it that the two-handed Giver’s weapons don’t provide a +20% condition duration?
For all other weapon sets that I know, every stat on a two-handed weapon is twice a one-handed weapon (crit damage is slightly different; +9% on a two-handed vs. +5% on each one-handed). This means that for builds that want the additional condition duration, such as dual pistol condition engineers, but love the functionality and look of the rifle, they lose out on a significant chunk of stats. Other weapon choices do not force the player into weapon-specific playstyles. The Giver’s weapons really add a nice stat variety, but I’d like to see it follow the same consistency as that of critical damage or all the other stat choices. Thanks for listening, ArenaNet, keep up the awesome work!
Hello fellow engineers!
I’ve tried the engineer time and time again and could never really get into it, but recently I’ve decided to roll one again and for whatever reason I’m finally enjoying it. I’ve attempted to look through as many builds as I possibly could, and while this may have already been posted hundreds of times over (sorry if it has been!) I wanted to get the community’s input particularly about one trait choice: Incendiary Powder VS. Forceful Explosives.
Both would work equally well with this setup, but I do feel like my bombs sometimes miss the target due to range issues, so Forceful Explosives would certainly help with that, but then I’d also lose the potential burning damage that really shines in crit/condition builds. Also, this build is NOT for sPvP, it’s for PvE and WvW (I’ve yet to be able to really test it to it’s full potential so this is really theoretical).
What are your thoughts?

I hadn’t even thought of that! Thanks Aveneo!
The Superior Rune of the Soldier is not activating it’s 6th trait during water combat to remove conditions on shout. I’m running a warrior build and the rune works perfectly fine in land-based combat, but won’t work in water combat.
I’m not a fan of the new attributes interface. I prefer being able to read the words of everything that I have, and the use of symbols doesn’t really click for me. Plus, too many symbols! It was much more intuitive to be able to scroll over my Precision to see my crit chance and crit damage. I like the addition of Agony Resistance, but couldn’t that have been included some other way? Why not make a secondary attributes panel that can be chosen from a drop-down that will list magic find, Agony Resistance, or other stat bonuses? Rather than being able to take a quick look at my attributes, I have to learn every symbol… Last note: it’s not aesthetically pleasing.
