@sirsquishy
Thnx for the info, I’ve had a look at mine through wireshark and every time I lose connection there is three black lines
1. NC server to me – TCP Previous segment not captured
2. Me to NC server – TCP DUP ACK
3. NC server to me – TCP out of order TCP segment of a reassembled PDU
and Lose connection, every time.
Any ideas?
This has been happening to lots of people, myself included. No fix as yet probably because the problem isn’t with Arena Net or individual ISP’s but the packet losses seem to be occurring in the last few ip’s before the GW2 servers in my case with *.Dallas1.level3.net IP’s (see pic).
After going through old post’s this isn’t anything new and there isn’t much beyond trying to get your ISP to contact Level3.net about the issue but not many people are having much luck with this or simply waiting it out but this has been happening to me since around the 23/12 patch and the GW2 server outage around the same time. Try using the pingplotter program to map your traceroute and pass it onto your ISP if your see any IP’s with large packet losses.
Same issue here in Aus. Have had constant DC’s & the odd fatal errors since the new year. There is little chance this is an ISP issue with so many different countries involved, by chance is anyone else running the latest driver (13.12) for a R9 280x as I updated this around the same time the issues started happening although why this would be giving me DC’s is beyond me.
Edit: added pingplotter ss. Errors creep in when running through the level3.net servers then unreachable after whatever 4.59.197.34 is.
