They just need to tone down the price. The up side is because I get discouraged using waypoints, I opted to walk and happened to discover DEs along the way. But they definitely shouldn’t pay the player. It’s a convenience that should naturally cost something.

Most players find personal story battles to be overwhelming and on the difficult side. One solution is to invite friends over. It’s effective, but there’s not always someone to group with, or sometimes you’re just not in the mood to group. It is afterall, more natural to do PS in solo mode.
My idea is to make de-levelling optional for Personal Story missions. Of course as a trade-off, you can’t get loot appropriate for your (real) level when you opt not to de-level. When you bring higher level friends they will be downscaled to your level (Even if you chose NOT to delevel yourself). Basically you shouldn’t be able to use the feature as an easy way to earn stuff. This is purely for the purpose of finishing your storyline without the frustrations. I don’t think this feature affects other players (e.g. trivialize content for them, destroy in-game economy, etc).
What do you guys think? Do you agree? Was there something I might have overlooked?
