Prob with that would be how the stat changes would be for each of the added head gear. It wouldn’t be balanced
I can’t see how it would. Seems like a minor update could fix that.
I apologize on beforehand for the double-up of words and missing letters… I had this problem when uploading my previous post as well. I suspect fish, as this is more than fishy…
This is actually a repost from something I wrote a good time ago, not intended as spam in any way.
So, ever wanted to wear a hat and a mask at once? Well, then you know know that it isn’t possible…
It would insanely cool to be able to equip a hat/helmet, goggles/circlet and a mask!
This is one of those things I feel that no one can argue against, as there are only pros to go along with it.
Cheers!
So.. I guess this is not that relevant for warriors and guardian as they use mostly close quarters, but for any type of long ranged combat style, this is over-the-top annoying!
So.. I guess this is not that relevant for warriors and guardian as they use mostly close quarters, but for any type of long ranged combat style, this is over-the-top annoying!I personally like (and sometimes have to, when using a ranged character in cramped spaces) to back off and walk backwards with my Norn warrior, using the cripple shot and then the bounce-back attack to keep the enemy at a distance. It actually works fine until the enemy suddenly runs away and its health regenerates faster than I can deplete it…

I’m all for it! As long as there will be add-ons and not replacers to existing content Why would anyone complain about content they’re not forced to use!?
I’m trying to save your from wasting time on this suggestion. No offense.
My time is better wasted replying to you, sir..
And there are tons of other sucky suggestions that you can save from having time wasted on them. Just sayin’
Give up dude. They made lots of bad lore decisions, starting with destroying the lroe of Gw1 and focusng only on dragons. kraits are just a bad idea that can’t be carried out.
If you know nothing about the lore then you should stop.
I beg to disagree.. If you’ve got nothing new and constructive to come up with, please refrain from posting more pointless arguments that only sum up what I’ve already stated will be a problem.
Why do you even play a game if you’re not interested in massive expansions for free? You wouldn’t have to play as a Krait if you don’t want to, and I hardly doubt it would affect the other races that much, with the exception of new areas to explore.
..
Good feedback by some, not so much by others
The questline would obviously consist of turning the minds of the already indoctrinated Krait constitutions. This is hard and will prove a challenge for Anet, but that’s the whole point! It’s supposed to be hard, there is supposed to be a conflict to solve.
The Krait would be so amazingly interesting to explore: The society, the religious dogma, the history, architecture etc. etc.
The only reason why Anet wouldn’t embark on such a task, is because the fanbase isn’t responding in a positive enough manner here.
So repost this so that others who didn’t see this the first time round, will!
I recently thought about how awesome it would be to be able to play as Krait, explore their society and fight the yet unnamed deep sea elder dragon to reclaim the Unending Ocean!
After having done some reading on Krait, I soon realized some complications on how to integrate this vicious race into Tyria. The Krait have so far not been in the need of cooperation with any other race, but I thought as follows:
1. As of right now, they still have no need to cooperate.
2. But the deep sea elder dragon and Zhaitan are both threatening them.
2. They are a proud and highly intelligent race, so they probably want to reclaim their homesea.
3. This would force them to swallow their pride for the time being, and seek union with the Vigil, Lionguard etc. = Lore integration!
Imagine how amazing it would be to have your starting area in some place deep underwater, and then be able to go to Lion’s Arch and do the stuff all the other races do!
Thanks in advance!
I have a face mask and a vigil visor. Wouldn’t work for me… I also use necro masks, which wouldn’t work with my face mask.
Now, if they made Reading Glasses a PvE item, I’d be all for it.
That’s sort of what I meant. That head gear is divided into categories based on where on the head it is. An eye slot, upper head slot, a moth slot etc.
Yeah, wouldn’t it be awesome if you could equip two different types of head armour?
I mean, two hats/helmets at the same time obviously wouldn’t work, but if Anet put helmets/hats in one category, and goggles/visors etc. in another, it would be really awesome!
Basically, I want to be able to wear my goggles and pirate hat at the same time with my Asura engineer, as to look like at smuggler/pirate/something
Let me know what you think!
Mounts are stupid for this game
Why?
Dude, ever heard of waypoints?
And no, go play another game for mounts.
Eh, dude, yes, I have heard of waypoints.. If this was the solution I was hoping for I would never have posted this.
Waypoints are handy for getting somewhere extremely fast, for a reasonable to ridiculous fee.
What I want, on the other hand, is a way to actually physically travel, that isn’t slow as male genitals..
It is not that I dislike exploring (actually, I love it), but when there is somewhere I need to be, and the only means of getting there, is by walking, it gets annoying over time.
As an example, I will take the walk through Gendarran Fields to get to the Vigil Keep. I must do this all the time, and the only AG is that weird one at the top.. If there could be an Asura Gate from Lion’s Arch to every important location on the world map, instead of just to the capital cities, that’d be great!
How many hours haven’t I spent jogging my way through Field Of Ruin or Plains Of Ashford, just to reach Blazeridge Steppes?
Alternatively, as suggested in the topic title, what about adding ridable mounts (that run fast!), available for all races and professions! It could be as easy to give the ranger pets and necro minions an additional function – The player would, when the mount/pet gets killed, just wait for the summoning skill to recharge.
I know that this is a good idea, so even if Anet doesn’t see this, please, fellow guild warriors – Repost this!
Thanks in advance!
I just completed the Fields Of Ruin map, which is truly amazing, especially with the teaser to the branded faction and all. But I’ve noticed a few annoying issues:
1. The waypoint costs are way too high. If you die two meters from a waypoint, it costs the same amount as if you were halfway across the map.
2. Ebonhawke doesn’t count as a city, as you have to pay for fast travel within its walls. Don’t know if this how it’s supposed to be, but it definitely shouldn’t.
3. East of ebonhawke, the enemies (Ogres, devourers, ogre pets etc.) are not correctly scaled. I got downed in three hits when I was at level 38, and the enemy 35. And I know ogres aren’t as overpowered elsewhere.
Everything else is perfect. Had a lot of fun playing there
Thanks in advance!
