Hi Revs,
I’m a nooby for GW2, I started the game in Sept last year and decided to go with Dragonhunter. A couple of weeks ago I decided to try Rev and I completely loved it. In fact this will be my main budy for sure.
I’m already lvl 80. Since I’m following the HoT story quests, I’m right now in AB doing the story quests and also the meta event, since AB is my favourite map.
I haven’t found any guide for Revs in open world so I wanted to ask you some questions I have. I really want to play my Rev the best I can but, as a nooby, I yet need a lot to learn.
Basically the specializations I’m using are: Invocation (3/1/1), Devastation (2/3/1) and Herald (3/2/1).
Regarding weapon: main Sword/Shield (I used to carry S/A but the shield helps me with the suvivability in the jungle) and Hammer as my 2nd weapon for range dps when I need it.
Stances: Glint/Shiro. I’m running with Glint all the time with FAcet of Light on, Facet of the Elements on and Facet of Strengh on. I swap to Shiro when my energy bar goes to 0.
My question is during combat what to do. For example I’m not completely sure when to use Facet of Nature and One with Nature. Also, when to consume all the facets I have on. Usually I consume all the facets right when I get in combat and then throw Facet of Nature+One with Nature.
Another thing I’m not sure is how to manage the energy bar. The idea is to consume the energy as fast as you can and swap stance and do the same?
I would really appreciate any tip you can give me. Thanks in advance Revs!
