I have the proper scribing level (L53), I have the material, I have War Room restoration 1 done. I just can not figure out how to craft the Guild Banquet Schematics.

What am I missing?

I am struggling leveling as a scribe. I am a L53 scribe and trying to Craft 22 Guild Banquet Schematics. As per Dulfy:

I have Green wood planks, Bolts of Jute, Sheets or Course Paper, & Simple Scribing Pen. But have no idea how to make the Guild Banquet Schematics. I do not see it as in the Production Tab and Discovery will not take all my items.

Thoughts?

Play time on GW2 is always at a premium. So what I would really like to to see is moble crafting. It could even be by Web page, but an app would just make it even more convienent.

Imagine crafting while commuting on the bus, waiting room, or relaxing before bed. Please give this some serious consideration. Carfting is not fun, but at least you could let us do it while not in prime time gaming.

Professions keep getting different weapons, but what I owuld like is a new weapon a whip.

NPC’s have a whip. Ele’s have a whip ( kinda). You guys have the animation down so please add a whip as a new weapon.

I am clueless on how to really use it to it’s max potential
I need a general skill chain (especially to start a combat)
Also what do I want to concentrate on. I see that Chaos Armor really is useful for mitigating damage.

I see lots shattering is important since they re-appears instantly but which one is the most important F1?

I also see that F5 is useful to recharge skills fast. What do you suggest before the F5? A guide would be very nice for this.

But a Huntsman can craft Damask at L500?

Wiki says a Huntsman can make a bolt of Damask at L400. I am at L477 and still do not see it. What am I missing?

I also checked. I cannot get the Wintersday Meta without 10k drinks and 2,500 candy canes. This is unacceptable!! You are making it literally impossible for me to get this Meta in the time period it is active. I don’t have gold to buy what I need. I have to earn it. So what do you expect me to do? I’m literally incapable of finishing a Wintersday Meta for the first time ever.

Hey Keira, you can get the meta. Just do the snowball fight instead, and you will not need to do candy canes or drinking. You really do not have to be a superstar to win. Just put in the time. I feel your pain but hope this helps.

its no different to the long term consumption achievments in GW1, its a long term goal for those that like long term goals. Note 9x% of the achievments on offer from the holiday are short and mid term goals, why should those that want a long term goal not get some content too?

The difference is that it is a timed event (not long term) at a busy time of the year. It is also an unreasonable fee for a skin. Most games give away things at the end of the year to say thanks. It appears that the Devs do not like us as much as we thought.

Wildstar had a ton of nice rewards. Star trek online give away a $30 top of the line ship just for doing a few races. It shoes they really appreciate the base and and happy they play their game.

I have no issue with long term goals (within reason). But what ANET did to us players is wrong. To make a time sensitive project in a very busy time of the year; not to mention a massive time skin just for a skin is just ludicrous.

Most games reward their players with a nice gift and a fun event just as a way to say thanks. Not ANET. This Winters event is the worst event I have ever played in any game.

I never expected a game to do this to its player base and got in over my head before I realized how much time it would take. I am farming bells (i can’t do the jump puzzle) 4-5 hours a night EVERY night! It is not fun, I am not happy with Anet. If I could get all my karma, drinks, etc back I would happily walk away from this event

I have played GW1 & GW2 nearly every night since day 20, and soon as I get the skin I am taking a long break form GW2 till I really feel like playing again.

Gailie has still not (or have i missed it in the mounds of posts) andered the quesiton that she was "researching days ago.

1 Will the shoulder be able to be gotten after winters day?
2 Will there be other ways to get drinks like crafting? As buying will go out of sight as the supply runs out.
3 Will next year drop drinks to get the shoulder?

I miss the feeling how cool GW2 was when it started, before the change… When Anet wanted us to have an experience not grind and time sink you play time.

I go back to GW1 a few times a year to relive that with a few friends.

What game designer thought it would be fun to sit for two and a half minutes watching a stack of junk to be refined into different junk at a crafting station?

I have used a chain called uBreakiFix. I have had great service and very reasonable prices for other needs.

Then again a full time weeks work at minimum wage will let you get another new $200 laptop!

This is not a rage quit, not looking for sympathy, but thought the story was just interring to share as a marketing decision.

I bought GW2 (base game) for $10 in mid April and did not update because of the crazy Anet policy that said I could get a full refund for HOT but lose all my progress which was a lot. Hence decided not to to play GW2 seriously.

Fast forward to today. With the birthday celebration I jumped back in and decided to go HOT since now I can get my $10 off of HOT and keep all my progress since they revised the update. But wait! It seems there was a small window (two weeks?) that would let me get the refund.

Interestingly players that bought before December can upgrade to HOT and anytime, but for some reason Anet wants me to pay $10 more now for HOT if I update than totally new players. For a game that has not come out yet!

I can not make up my mind if this is a bad marketing plan or just greed. it just seem strange that do not want a lot more money for buying HOT and gem store purchases.

Anyway I will play with my $10 game with no more complaints, not going to buy gems to support a company that want to charge me more than new players. There a re lot of other companies that want me to play their games

Like the lace work is very nice, but the dress front for the human female sticks out from the side view. It is very stiff looking and makes her look pregnant. LOL

I don’t think you can transfer gold and items from a FTP account you can just sell stuff at BLTP and keep the gold.. So it it is pointless to make extra accounts

Anet will give GW2 away to new players for free.

But will they open SAB for paying players? NOPE!
