Guild Wars 2

I think it’s a nice idea. Seeing as a lot of people don’t like the designs the new ascended gear. And having a competition like that involves players in the game which is always nice ^^
Although at the same time, it is hard to do good for everyone :/

So it crashes when the intro starts? This issue is not only for mac users, although I don’t know a lot of people who experience this problem. I know a windows user who hasn’t seen the intro video of his character because the game always crashes at that moment. But his character is created. Don’t know if that’s the case with you.
I suggest you contact Arenanet for this problem.

I had the same problem when I was completing LA. But if you walk around you see a brigde and you get the poi.
Maybe they moved the bridge but forgot to change it in the mini map or something?

I never installed the disk of the mouse thinking Mac won’t be able to read it. But if it worked for you, that’s good! Maybe it’ll help some other people too (:

I don’t know if there ever a “real” client will come out. Riot had a contract with Transgaming too for a mac version of League of Legends (few years ago), but when the contract ended the beta client disappeared.

I’d rather have the beta client of Guild Wars (that works perfectly for me) then no client at all (:

I don’t like it walking around with a pet that’s called ‘Juvenile…’. But renaming every time you switch is kinda getting annoying.
Like Pendleton.6385 says, I would settle for one general name for all the pets. As long as they’re not called Juvenile … .

Sometimes the trading post gets a little buggy, even for windows players. The page keeps loading and loading.. But normally if you reboot it should fix it (for most windows players of course). When trading post is being crappy with me, I just check later and most of the times it works then.

I do remember the first days I played Guild Wars trading post didn’t work at all. But now it works most of the times (:

I don’t have any problems, even after the patch. One time the camera view got a little messed up but went away with rebooting.
Have you made a ticket for Anet?

I had this problem once, when I was in fractals. I couldn’t properly move due the camera angle. I looked straight down on my character and everything else. But after I rebooted Guild Wars everything was normal again, and the problem hasn’t appeared again, so far.

My beta client runs very smoothly, better than I had expected to be honest!
It even runs better and faster then my boyfriends windows version xD

This is the mac I have:
15 Inch, early 2011
- Processor: 2 GHz Intel Core i7
- Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
- Graphics: Intel HD-Video 3000 384 MB
- Software: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

The only disadvantage is that I can’t play Guild wars without the charger. The game devours my battery. But I hardly have lag, it looks amazing, so no complaints from me!

You have to download the Mac Beta Client from somewhere here.
When you registered, you had the choice to either download the client for Windows or Mac. If you play on a mac, the disks are pretty much useless (;
