It’s a soft reset. So your previous ranking does matter.
Mhh are you sure?
I was Plat in the first season. In the second i got some real gud pve people in my placement games and ended up in Silver, i gave up for that season because i could not stand the quality of games i got, it was horrible. (i could have grinded back to Plat but i already did that with an alt in the first Season)
In the current seasons i won a lot of my placement games and got into Plat again….
Proposal —> You get set back to the start of the Tier from your last season:
If you were Silver last season you will start at 900 rating. If you were Gold you start at 1200, for Plat and Higher you start at 1500. (idk about Bronze i think 0 would be a bit mean ;-) maybe start at 800 or let them keep their ratings)
Wait, help me with this. According to the point Shopping for Ambers:
If someone has lower raiting than me (because his skill level is probably lower) i should not duoQ with him because we will face enemies in my ranking range. —> bad ifea
If someone has higher rating we duoQ we will face better enemies. —> bad idea
So dont teamQ with people who are not in your raiting range?
update from the reddit thread : multiple people think this is at least one year in the game, but like me they are not sure at all^
Even confirmed it was added in December 2014
Yes i understood that.
But that doesnt change the fact that other people(on reddit) and i presumably have used this command before the december update. I honestly cant find a plausable explanation for that.
Most of the time there is a simple reason why things happen the way they do but you cant comprehend until it get known.

In the December PvP update, the command was updated to allow /rank # to show any unlocked rank finisher.
Thanks for the update. Though i have a strange feeling (i hope this makes sence in english) because i thought this was in the game for a long time and i actually have memories of it.^
There is a thread on reddit talking about the /rank command. Basically its explains how /rank works. I have commented that its hasnt changed since launch because i have memories that i used it at that time.
Could a DEV pls give a statement if /rank hasnt change since launch? I asked my PvX and PvP guild and noone knew about it, so im questioning my mental state ;-)
Edit: Im talking about /rank n (ex. ‘/rank 10’ for the deer) if that wasnt clear
This happend at least 5 times in the past 2 weeks: i teamQ with some frinds/guild then we abandon the queue and invite someone else, then we start queue again and either the new guy or we get into a mach and the others dont. then we have to leave the party to queue because the person in the game cant accept it.
You can get in by going through the Asuran gates in main cities, you just can’t directly use the UI to teleport there till lvl 22.
Thats genius, he probably also has to talk to the npc to get into the games……
This is honestly sad, for me its even too much that we need to finish the tutorial. Why cant we just go to pvp after we skipped the initial video scene??
If i understood this right: you que up with a spesific class( eg. Warrior) but then you see that your team needs a bunker guardian to win. So you relog to your guardian, but you get minus points for leaving the match, even if this desition may have won you the game?
Why do you publish an API without basic documentation?
Im happy anyway that 2 years after game release we finally have an TP API.
