Sword auto attacks hit like a wet noodle. With the sword being our shortest range weapon, there should definitely be a power output at least comparable with dagger. Most people complain about the 4s GCD on attunements but I believe auto attack damage, gap closing and barrier generation on sword are the real problems with weaver atm.

i don’t think weaver was ever meant to be support. it is a glass cannon damage dealer. if you are going support then you may want to stick with tempest.

on a side note: If you are dead set on going support and need quick access to certain skills I think there is a utility that allows you to attune your entire weapon skill set into one attunement with your next attunement button press.

He doesn’t want to be a support. He said he’s running a Fresh Air Scepter Focus build. It’s the definition of a “glass cannon” build lol.

ANet, please keep the internal cooldown to at least 3 seconds. I love the implementation you did for most of the 2nd expansion specialization where “you lose something to gain something” this makes the specializations feel like is a real trade-off, instead of just pure power creep.

Play video game is not about getting everything you want, it’s about making the optimal decision with the constraints of the system.

Have you played the class? You’re not trading one thing for another. As is, weaver offers lower sustain, lower damage and less utility than both core and tempest specs.

You can lower the attunement to 2seconds if you run arcane/air/weaving.

Even with the arcane trait line you’re still at a ~3.5s CD

Did they ever get back to you? I’m curious how something like this could happen.
