Yeah i know that, but i prefer to do most of the leveling in pve and by crafting what i gather. Just to explore more of the game.

Need some help on deciding which alt to make: )
I have always enjoyed playing the ranger/hunter/rogue class in other games, so i decided to make an alt as either thief or ranger.

I have been reading alot, and just cant decide on which one to choose.
The ranger has some big issues pvp/wvw wise that doesnt seem to be taken seriously by the devs, but i really like the playstyle tho.

The thief on the other hand has some issues Pve wise that makes it frustrating to level up and is a common class to be seen. But they have pistols!!

Both classes offers ranged and close combat, but i prefer ranged on my alt as i play close combat with my main (guardian).

I want to bo able to pvp with the class, but i have to be able to level up in pve before i can do so :P

Is it really that bad to solo pve as a thief?
Is the ranged builds viable?
Do you feel unwanted in dungeons?
Have any of you tried both, and how would you compare them?

I kinda dislike most of the pets, but find the birds and lizards cool enough to have around, are they viable ^^?

Do you think the ranger will get fixed in the future, and is it then worth investing in?

Hi there Mexico! I could some need help.The Greatsword tricked me into only doing spvp, and i didnt get much back for it and suddenly ive noticed how low level i am : (
So if you have time and willing to help a brah out i could need some tips on how to trait in PVE.

Atm i am level 25 : D Daymn you Greatsword, black magic evil steel. Ive put 10 points in Honor and 5 in Zeal to get alot of burn and running with mace/focus and 1hsword+ torch. Just followed a random guide, like to live on the wildside. Still, i can find it hard to survive sometimes : ( When i shouldnt… Or should i? Hence

Ive seen alot of people stating that you should build around the weapons you enjoy , so if it helps my favorite weapons are Hammer, 1h sword& Mace and Shield as secondary. Kiiinda tired of GS.

Would be awesome if you could give me a plan for what to trait for from level 25-40 and then another build as i get more trait points if needed. So im as effective as possible all the time.
