I play 4 different classes (Thief, Ranger, Guardian and Elementalist) and I must say that I never been in a group where they only wanted Guardians, Warriors or Elementalists. In fact, my Guardian and my Elementalist are probably less played than my other two. After 2 years of playing, I find my Thief being the best in all situation(Dungeon, Fractals, WvWvW, tPvP) of the game since it’s the one I’ve mastered the most and I ran with all zerker gear only once and it was doing poorly in too much situations(sPvP would be different since the stats don’t work the same way). Never once someone rejected me because I was a Thief and not wearing full zerker gear and I never witnessed such things either. Yes maybe those 3 classes are popular today, but that’s also what we used to called “Flavor of the Month Class”. Balances changes are affecting that directly.

I really can’t choose… so here is my Ranger, Thief, Guardian and Ele! :P

That and everything else that’s supposed to be a 1 time a day thing. Doing this could cause massive inflation and destabilize the economy even further than what the bots have done

This is true that can be a way to “abuse” the system, causing problems, but there is an easy fix for that, restrictions on players MANUALLY joining overflows. Anyway, what you are saying is already true, since people get in an overflow at first, finish farming and then join their server map, farming again. So, the problem is already here, adding this option wouldn’t change a lot in that manner(Maybe a little bit easier, but still) and if they really don’t want people to do that, they already need to fix it.

BUMP! I felt this suggestion needed a bump, because it really is a good suggestion and I think this is a feature that could easily be added in a patch since overflow servers are already present. Also, guesting is a feature coming “someday”, but that could be a temporary “fix” until we actually get the guesting feature.
