One thing I would like to know though… Is the key a fake that fools the key registration system? Or is the key legit so the developers earn money on it? If it’s the latter I can’t see a reason for an invalidation/ban.

It was confirmed by support just now. My key was rendered invalid, as I suspected.

Yeah, but I’ve looked around and every single case I found the played had also been banned. That has not happened to me yet.

Doesn’t matter what happens at G2Play since the key actually worked. And I have not gotten banned either.

I bought a key from g2play.com, and it worked just fine. Everything pointed towards my account being successfully upgraded, both in-game and on my account. I even played a bit and unlocked some Elite Specialization skills on one of my characters.
However today, that upgrade was gone. Both in-game and the account webpage tell me the same as before upgrading, that an upgrade is available. There is no message from anyone telling me what has happened.

As for g2play I have never had any problems with anything I’ve bought from them, so I am guessing there’s a hickup in the system during the release. Anyone else having the same problem?

Usually I experience a small lag spike every 3-5 minutes lasting a few seconds each, not something I cannot handle. But I’ve almost always had this problem in GW2, except for some time after its launch. After deciding to try GW2 out again I downloaded a fresh install a few days ago, and I was booted off the game two days in a row because of these recurring problems. Doing any instance is pretty much impossible. It is 100% not my connection, as the pinging any web page is low and stable, and latency on everything else reflect this (games, streams, video buffering, etc.. Even on the options screen in-game it also shows a low ping.). My problems are with GW2 only. I usually sit and wait until I get booted off the server, and then have to wait a few minutes before trying to log in again.

What I have noticed is that in rare instances when I do experience a high ping or even an even rarer packet loss, GW2 have a difficult time restoring the connection properly, as if it starts to stutter severely. So I have to idle for a minute while it sorts things out, or usually get booted.

I have moved around a lot, changed computers and reinstalled the game several times, so it can’t be tied to any one specific thing on my side.

As I was writing this the issues went away, but they are too frequent. My installation of GW2 is completely vanilla and I have not messed around with any internet settings.

Yes, that was what I meant. When hovering over them anywhere else than in the crafting menu there is nothing but name and amount of slots.

Seems like quote doesn’t work.
Anyways, thanks. Just wish there was a tooltip on the boxes so i didn’t have to spend time on nothing.

It is not a bug. Read the text on the box carefully:

“8 Slots, Items in this box will never appear in a sell-to-vendor list and will not move when inventory is sorted.”

That also means they will not be seen by the “Deposit Collectible” option either. What you need are Craftsman Bags/Boxes.

So I was crafting a bunch yesterday, and when I was done I wanted to deposit everything back into my Collectibles stash. But it seems the button did not work; very few items went into the stash, like 2-3 out of the 20 I had on me. However, if I right click each individual item and select Deposit Collectible it works just fine.

At the same time, the Compact button bugged out as well. Instead of actually packing every item in my inventory nice and tight, it makes “holes” in my inventory. Some items moves around, while some stay where they were.

This was all yesterday, and I’m writing this about 24 hours after it happened. Logging off, turning off my computer and not logging in the game at all for 24 hours did not fix it.

While writing this I noticed that the problem seem to revolve around my 2 8 Slot Safe Box I made with my Armorsmithing profession. It seems like I cannot deposit anything or use Compact via the Inventory Options if the items are in any of the 8 slots on my 2 8 Slot Safe Boxes.

I already moved the boxes up and down the tab on the left side of the Inventory to see if it changed anything, but it didn’t.

Any ideas? I suppose I will report it as a bug as well as posting it here.
