So far they seem OK. I just hope that Arena will not find it to be a great idea to switch raiding into THE thing players are supposed to be doing (ie. more focus on developing new raid wings instead of various other content). There is a reason why I decided to make GW2 my MMO home and in large part that is because I wanted to escape from the “raid or die” design which is prevalent in many competing games. I looked at “no raids” as a positive feature. Now when Arena decided to backtrack on that, I am willing to accept those raids and do them from time to time but it will pose a problem if at some point I will feel forced to do them.

Players on my friendlist were all doing raid. I felt lonely. Wvw is pretty dead in EU. Gw2 is becoming to be another WoW clone. Maybe it is time to move back to Eve online.
In a way I am very happy about this.

From my opinion, remove energy from revenant, you didn´t learn nothing from thieves and all nerfs they got cos initiative and now you are making the same mistake with a similar class because you are trying to fusionate 2 diferent playstyles mana management (energy, initiative) and cooldowns and as we can see now you are starting to nerf revenants since 4 days of release!!!!
Its just my point of view if a class is using mana then use mana to nerf, if a class is using cd then use cd!!
Thats my point of view and we can see all patch notes (most nerfed-“balanced” class thief). And i dont want to see that happen to revenant too.

This is very good point. CD’s to all the skills. Maybe whole energy mechanism should be removed?
Staff that needed a buff was instead nerfed.
All these changes so soon after release sends a message that dev team is uncertain about what they are doing with Revenants.

PT nerf was bad move and is in conflict what Arenat used to be known for – balance.
PT was very useful tool against thieves in wvw environment. Fro long time Thieves have been the top predator in WvW because they can choose and reset their fights with insane amount of stealth, speed, blinding skills and healing in stealth mode.

Finally there was fast, simple and rather efficient skill to hunt down backstabbing and sneaky thieves.
Why thieves are allowed to choose their fights? Engage and disengage without much effort?
Fix Shiro and put it back into it’s former glory.

Before you start to flame this post. I just say that I have all professions at lvl 80 in wvw setups and also enjoy playing thief for obvious reason.

I just want that there are hardcounters for all professions also in WvW.

One way to deal with alts could be that Hero challenge are granted account-wide.
You need to do them once with any character.
For alt, you “just” need to get them 80 to get the leveling Hero points and unlock trait lines slots.

But I don’t bother having to gather Hero points for Elite specialization the first time.
I’m 5 unlocking steps away from the elite skill.
I did all Hero challenges of Tyria with my 80 in 12 hours the day Heart of Thorns was released. I even get half the points available in WvWvW.

I barely leaved the Verdant Brink and focused on doing the first map before discovering the next ones.

But it bother me a lot that a random number of Elite points will remain in the end ^^

Ty Kulvar, this is a great idea. Make Hero challenges account-wide. This would solve at least some of the problems. I have 10+ toons on 3 different accounts and want to open elite specs to all of them eventually.

I can confirm this, I killed veteran Drake without getting daily reward.

Hackers was encountered again just right now. It is unbelievable that ANET has not done anything to get this guy banned or adapted their code to block this hack. In any other serious MMO this hacker would have been banned right a way but not in GW2.
Not to mention that there are many new players who try out EOTM and what they encounter? Invisible hacker who shows middle finger to whole community and makes ANET look like very bad.

Hacker confirmed, was also there in EOTM, he was invisible, used NECRO skills and nothing was logged into combat log. He harassed SFR players with this hack.
