Its a backstab build and the damage and survival is there but maybe im missing something and I can get some thoughts.
First im a D/D & Short Bow user. Full Lvl 80 exotics Armor and Weapons. I run a mix of stats on equipment and use the Runes of Scholar. I use Signet of Shadow, Signet of Assassin, and Devour Venom. Daggerstorm as my elite. My stats are as followed.

Critical Chance 35%

My skill Tree is:
20 Deadly Arts – Mug, Dagger Training
30 Critical Strength – Signets of Power (10 Stacks of might), Practiced Tolerance (5% Precision converted to Vitality), Hidden Killer (100% Crit from stealth)
5 Shadow Arts for Last Refuge (Blinding Powder) has saved my life so many times.
15 Acrobatics with Vigorous Acrobatics so when stuff hits the fan and I heal, I can dodge more.
I rarely die and my backstab is still hitting really hard. The 5 in Shadow Arts came last and it was the final piece of the puzzle, that blinding powder is a difference maker in the WvW environment.
