This should be in since release, no matter how bad the balance is, ingame ATs like in GW1 are needed..

I think you could add some daily ingame tournaments (everyday one in different time… for all countries) – or atleast weekly one. + achievements of course :-)
It should not be hard for you and I think it can rly raise competetive potencial of this game and sPvP popularity/population .
This can bring some kind of aim/proggresion and reason why to train with team.
