I wouldn’t mind getting a notification every 10 minutes by grievers as long as it doesn’t completely block my view. As to abusing the report function: That issue is already present with the current report system. The only real difference is that you get a reward for correct reports.

Do you think it impossible to make a whole new screen pop-up with the trial session? You wont get tagged if you’re not acting like a bot, would have to be tagged by either enough, or experienced taggers, and can’t be tagged again for some time after so there would be no question of intrusion.

example:
tag skill: if target has been tagged by players with enough accumulated achievement lvl, a trial session is started. Players will be able to ask questions and the target must respond within a time limit. At the end players vote for human or nonhuman. Target cant be tagged again for 10 minutes.

It seems bots (especially the blink bots) are winning from Anet so to adress this problem:

Recruit active players to report bots by providing a special item that has a bot reporter skillset. Correct reports will gain you points for a new Botkiller achievement, wrong reports drop your achievement level. Only several reports within the same timeframe will be taken seriously, higher achievement level gives you higher report power.
Even better: make it so profitable that it will be the best farm in the game. It can only restore balance!

I already read about this elsewhere, but I really think it is a good idea. You can’t use a program to detect a random program, but humans can identify a nonhuman.

Since today Guild Wars 2 does not load after the login screen. Instead my screen becomes black with varying horizontal flickering patterns. I can’t alt+tab or ctrl+alt+del. I have not changed any settings since yesterday.
I use 2 ATI radeon 4850 cards on Win XP sp2 32bit and I use app settings for anti-aliasing.
