PvP, WvW or PvE focused?

For PvE I’m really enjoying a 0/30/20/20/0 build. It supports GSword and also Sw/T and Sc/F if you want. GSword is a great default weapon for most situations, Sword/Torch will do more damage on single target or frontal aoe. I rely on Omnomberry Pie and Master Maintenance Oil for healing and crit, consumables are a vital part of this build. I can stay in melee longer and do good damage with it, it seems relatively tanky. I support with shouts which are nice. Fun spec, I really like S/T for damage output and self healing with food, GSword works here also in AoE situations.

Burning is our only condition and it doesn’t stack, only lengthens in time so Crit should be the better option. I run a mix of Precision, Power, Vitality and Toughness gear.

Maybe a PVE/PVP ish build? I am not looking as far as WvW yet.

I’m new to guardian and honestly I’m not sure what sort of playstyle I can get out of them. Not to sound demanding but a list of things I want to be able to do is:

- Use a greatsword
- Not be squishy (though i don’t have to be a tank)
- Heavy damage (By the way, which deals heavier damage? Crits or Condition?)

I don’t want to be a support role, more of an attack role?

Hey guys, i’m a new character playing a thief and I have a question, i’ve been looking for builds but i don’t understand any of it.

First of all, what’s all this xx/xx/xx/xx Stuff? I haven’t hit lvl11 yet does that have to do with it?

Also, I’m wondering, which build style caters to the fast crit, damage and attack type of playstyle?

And last of all, if someone could provide the sort of utilities I need for this kind of build?
