I love sitting patiently for 20 minutes waiting for the que, then going to the bathroom for 1 minute and coming back to a 1½ hour dishonor.

IMO dishonor for not accepting the queue invite is HUGE SMELLY BS. It’s ok for leaving game. But what’s problem with missing queue??

Galen, you will be surprised. But session reservation is available almost in all major MMO’s.
1-2 minutes is not so long time. Even in WOW with much heavier server load and thousands people in queue you can jump in same session after 5 minutes.
I think people who was waiting 1h+ deserves their spot after game client crashes or just random DC.

I wasn’t playing for some time, started again just after that update with mega’s. the problem is not owerflows/megaservers. the problem is not keeping sessions alive for short amount of time imho.

Not sure if it’s correct theme to “whine” but it’s already out of my understanding.
After all these “MEGA server changes” people who wants to kill Tequatl have to come about 1hour+ to the zone if they wish be in 1st or at least 2nd main servers. So it means 1h wasted time. And after that 1 hour client crashes or just weird DC’s happening. Everyone knows what happens after. Spawning in some N-th server with no hope to achieve the goal.
I don’t understand all this anet disrespect to us as players and our time.
Why there is no technical solution to help people who dedicate their time? Why my session can’t be left alive for 1-2 min?
p.s. just angry about 4-5 wasted hours
