This actually isn’t true. There are several daggers held the other way around. E.g. Tear of Grenth, Jormag’s Needle.
I never felt that the animations were off with these daggers, even though they are reversed and I have to agree with op, that the Kama would look much better reversed.

Clipping Issue for Armor:

-Human
-Male
-Ranger/Thief

Drawing the short- /longbow while not attacking, the shoulder clipps through the shoulder armor.
This happens with the “Duelist Pauldrons” and every similar skin (e.g. Nika’s Pauldrons, Errol’s Pauldrons, etc.)
-Medium armor
-Shoulder armor
-lvl 62-79 Duelist Pauldron
-lvl 80 Nika’s, Errol’s, Shiro’s, Zho’s, Vatlaaw’s, Aidan’s, Reyna’s Pauldron
-aquirement: drop, mystic forge
