After hours of searching, and being ignored in-game, i can’t seem to find any underworld RP guilds.
Any suggestions?
I play GMT+1 in the mornings, and weekends if i’m not out partying.
Contact me here or in-game (2 alts: Nylro and Yyrd)
@kylla:
I don’t understand how msconfig could factor in, afaik that’s for choosing what services/applications run during startup, could you elaborate?
I don’t think the last user is having the same issue as me, i crash when i’m on the screen that’s in the attached screen capture.
I can’t get into the game, and it’s not that i’ve been playing, i just downloaded the client.
When i get home from work tonight, i’m going to try to delete everything and download again; perhaps this is some deeper file corruption that can’t be solved by the repair utility.
No luck.
It wasn’t blocked by my firewall, and running as an administrator didn’t help. Got another crash though, repair utility and main patcher. I hope i can access the game soon with your help, community!!
Thank you all. I appreciate both responses;
I must admit however that I don’t think this might have to do with the graphics settings, since i haven’t been able to get gw2.exe to run at all. but thank you all the same, it’s good to see others offering a helping hand!
To the second response:
Hmm, that is quite a reasonable cause. I’ll make sure I have it set up for administrator rights as well as my firewall settings.
I’ll post once I try everything out. Thank you, everyone!
hey all, just downloaded the client again since i formatted my hard drive and my cd drive isn’t working.
Anyway, I’ve encountered a problem: I left the comp on overnight in order to download all the juicy gigabytes of guild warsy goodness, only to find a crash report when i hit the play button
So, i decided it might have downloaded wrong, so i run the repair function with an additional gw2 shortcut (the -repair thing)
Now while verifying the archives, i get the same crash. Attached you will find my crash log. Any advice, friends?
