Some great suggestions, thanks!
I’m still considering my options, especially if it’s gonna be in the hundreds of dollars… because that’s way outa my league then.
I am wondering if anyone knows of a way for me to order custom made 3d printed characters. The reason I ask is because a friend and I are really great friends and soon her and I will need to part ways in real life and I want her and I to have something to remember each other by, and I can’t think of anything better than mini models of our two characters standing together (Or some other pose) on a small pedestal. I don’t mind if I have to hand paint it, I was just wondering if there’s any way…
(Small note: I can model environments so I could make a pedestal, but I’m bad at modeling characters so I was hoping to avoid modeling the characters myself if at all possible. (Plus modeling for 3d printing is a pain.))
Glad to see at least a few others agree that it’s a good idea. It’s a shame that others don’t see this as well.
So don’t use the /s… Join a party and do it.
This would take a long time to develop for a single team. It would essentially be an entire month’s event and would likely have to become the main event before it’s released as a world event (That stays after the monthly event).
That said… I think it’s a great idea. It’d push players to travel from zone to zone and would also encourage some more end game possibilities (This could easily be expanded).
I prefer the current methods. They’re simple and in my opinion, fair.
My god I love this idea. This would make an excellent addition for an expansion! Devs, I hope you truly consider this. We need more variety like this!
I think a nice little feature that could be added would be a wish list or a favorites list that we could create for ourselves using methods similar to sites like amazon.com, where all a player would need to do is to tell it to be added it to the list. Once on the list, we would be able to visit a single tab on the trade post screen and see the current buy/sell price and the quantity.
My reasoning for this is I have many items I want to buy (Namely to create my legendary, and to buy mini’s (For someone else…)) and to sell (To see when the market has them going up in price). I don’t think it’d be too terribly difficult, as I imagine it’d take a small team no more than a few days to kick something out.
Personally I see this as a feature that would be used by so many people, and it could very well help enforce a stronger economy too since players who play the Trade Post would be able to better see when Items are low and are able to be bought up to match a better sale price, or even for when an Item is too high and they have a bunch sitting in a bank and are able to make a sweet profit.
I hope this idea can be spread around and seen by someone from the development team. I truly think it would be a good feature to add. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Sincerely,
Krusader
EDIT: Here is a rough sketch of how simple it could all be (In terms of UI)

I don’t want this game to have cookie cutter builds and rotations, because skills offer so much more than mere dps.
I wholeheartedly agree. If a DPS meter was put in place the first thing that would happen is cookie cutter builds, and then selective classes for dungeons. I personally like the chance to enter a dungeon with any ol random group of people.
