Cheers all, i learnt a lot and i wanted to , i thought from when i started playing this game needs a tank and healer but its all more of using available traits and stuff , rather than having a set player holding the aggro and one mass healing. (as in some other mmos)

Ahhh so the pack of hounds fear in there CAN be removed, ok we were at fault then.
The 3 dungeons ive done ive just joined up and everyone says hi then one mass attack as we progress (havent done it like that in other games) and it seems this is no different, although from the outside dungeon fights i thought that it was the same style in a dungeon for this game.

Phy has answered the dilemma really , its no good then just to join a “shout” for players for a party in a general map chat, unless you know what the other players joining are.

I was under the impression of the game that everyone has a similar amount of dps and healing skill which up to going in a dungeon seems to work.

Phy, so what your saying that players who are making up parties should be asking for certain trait levels for the party rather than just any member ?
Thats the only way i can see to get the “solid” party needed.
So your saying if it is multiple wipes all 5 of the party must be rubbish ?
In CM dungeon just now there was a level 80, me at 59 (masterwork gear 59) and the other 3 above 40, yet we were getting hammered.
Even IF we were total rubbish (and we werent, we gave it all) your telling me that a level 40 dungeon should be a wipeathon EVEN with the downscaleing for our levels with extra abilities, i dont buy it

The no set Tank or Healer setup works great and is a load of fun OUTSIDE of dungeons where you can have 5+ players attacking enemies and the aggro and heals is shared loads ….., but in the dungeons where its a set 5 players … no no no
Ive only done two dungeons 3 times and i find them very very tedious because of the no set Tank or Healer (or traits that could make them).
Dungeons arent fun as the setup is at the moment.
Its wipe after wipe and its not to do with noone trying their best or not kitted enough.

As it now stands, with the majority of items selling at merchant+1c the economy is stagnant. There is no reason to even have a market. The only thing that will allow the economy to become dynamic again is to set a time limit on the purchase with the item being returned to the person listing with no return for the listing fee. Then return every item in the system immediately to the poster less the listing fee and allow the prices to stabalize at a reasonable level.
Do people not realize that on a microeconomic scale they have just tied potentially liquid assets into frozen assets? They don’t receive ANY money until the items sell. If they never sell the 1000+ items listed before you put yours on the market at merchant+1c, you will not only have spent the listing fee, you will never receive any money for that item? None, nada, zip, zilch. You were better off throwing the item away or deconstructing it for mats. The mats will sell for something even if not what the item would have been worth to the merchant.
Break your common (white) items down. The mats stack to 250 and only take 1 space. If the space is getting restrictive, you send the mats to your collectoins tab from anywhere in the world. If your bags are still getting filled, do the blue items or spend some coin and get larger bags. Since there are 3 different crafting professions that can make containers anyone can use, there should be an ample supply of relatively inexpensive containers on the market.
There is absolutely no excuse or genuinely good reason for selling anything on the market for merchant+1c.

Only thing I agree with in OP and first reply is that players use TP as a “trash bin” to free up inventory. Certainly that can be regarded as an exploit of sorts?
Yeah , it needs addressing bigtime asap.
The only people it hurts are those who like to play the trading house to earn their money, for the rest of the player base it’s great to find affordable equipment. People who play the market game tend to jack the prices of items for no reason either than lining their own pockets, which is fine, it’s all part of the game. If you are a trader and truly want to play the market, buy the cheap items and re-sell them as so many people do, sure it’s not all that great for the economy and you have to tie up your own gold in investments, but that’s the way it should be.
In the end it really doesn’t matter, you only see it as a loss because you could have made the extra two coppers, the person selling it got it for free, not counting “time is money”, so they are making a profit, just not as large of one as they could.
I am not saying this is you, but I have read this same post often enough and I have no sympathy for those who play the markets, they are a large part of inflation and the longer they are held back by large influxes of cheap equipment the better.
At the moment the TP is at the other end of the discussion , it isnt really in general being used as a Trading Post, its just being used as a vendor for vendor prices (near enough).
I would like a Trading Post that is at least worth putting an item that you have as a drop worth putting on there, or an item you have crafted.
People aren’t very smart, also so they can vendor stuff without going to a vendor.
Little do the know the stuff never sells.Remove the ability to put stuff in the TP from anywhere, people would complain, but it needs to be done.
The above needs to be implemented, too many players are just using the TP to empty their bags.
Stop the ability to add items from the interface or on the items, there might be some moans but overall people will see that the idea makes the game better.
Or some sell fee per item, as it is crafting stuff to sell is a waste of time.
