Currently my mesmer deals around 3k MW crits, 8-9k crits for iWarlock and iZerker with a 30/30/0/0/10 spec.

What I see from this is that you are unaffected by the renerf to Shattered Strength because you are not even using it. And the GCD doesn’t affect you because you don’t have iPersona either.

It’s really easy to claim that people shouldn’t complain about a nerf when it does not affect yourself whatsoever.

It also proves there are other builds that work just as well as exploited or overbuffed specs. This isnt anything new what Anet is doing. They are doing what every other company has done since the dawn of MMOs, they fix exploits. Its not their fault if you have started to rely on an exploited form of skill use.

I’m sure they will change the GCD into something else, that doesnt effect iPersona so you can buttonmash your way in the future.

It’s also 0.25 sec we are talking about, it shouldnt effect you unless you really mash your buttons like crazy.

I’m gonna have to agree with you. NO reason people need to QQ so much about an obvious mechanic needing adjustment. I play ONLY a mesmer as my main and have since October. In all I still feel very strong dps wise and am competitive against other professions. 0.25 secs barely affects me, though the change is obvious and takes some readjustment from the old system. I mean I can still do my fave thing and have up to 7-8 max clones running to a target at a time (depending if he’s running or not) and enjoy the train

Nueshak, Ether Feast is what I recommend using. Unfortunately, Healing Seed does very little for support heals and is lacking when you need your own self heal to stay up. I run a glass spec in WvWvW, sPvP as well as Dungeons and i’m competitive in each. While others run different and effective builds, I dont find myself wanting.

Healing seed is just not a good trade off for any builds i’ve used (never ran a defensive build fyi) sooo there is my input

Here is a half done video of how easy it is to solo as a Mesmer (and quite fun). This video is just against a Champion, but mobility is similiar in pvp if done right.

I’m only rank 10 sPvP but generally consider myself a decent pvp player and the Mes is far the most enjoyable profession i’ve played

Apologies for being absent for a bit – I decided to return the GTX 560 Ti, as the performance increase wasn’t noticeable. I’m sure because of the CPU.

Mrowwa, i’d like to spend as little as possible since i basically have $250 max to spend on a mobo/cpu combo (assuming I go with a LGA 1155 over my 1156) If you know of any good combo deals that you’d recommend, i’m open ears

Mrowqa, lol yeah good old goodies in January :P buuut the ivy bridges might drop significantly in price? in which case I might just upgrade my GPU now and tough it out till Xmas time Difficult

Hey guys, thanks in advance for the help. I am looking to upgrade my video card on my computer and have a 200.00 budget to work with. I am wondering if you all think my CPU will still be fine or if I should just go ahead and upgrade it instead?

My Specs:
Alienware Aurora R2 Chasis (I know, I know)
CPU – I3 540 (Clarksdale) OC’d @ a comfy 3.6Ghz
GPU – GTX 460 SE
RAM – 4gb (ADATA XPG Gaming Series)
PSU – 575 (I believe)
I can play the game at max settings with reflections turned off @ 40-60 FPS, depending on the zone i’m in and whats going on.

WvW and Large Event farming, I sometimes struggle to keep more than 15 FPS and this of course makes me want to make an upgrade. The only reason I think I need the GPU upgrade is b/c my CPU is hardly taxed during large events or WvW.
