I agree only thing I would change is that it NOT be made by Anet after this flop
This over 2 million copies sold flop eh?
This 5 star reviewed mistake?
This outselling MoP screw up?
jeez, you are right, this game flopped so bad it altered the fabric of time and made itself a commercial success.OH WAIT!
Outsold MoP? You must be joking. According to statictics GW2 sold a little over 2mil in 2 weeks. MoP topped it by selling 2.7mil in ONE week.
Oh lets not forget that some of those “5” star reviews have been retracted such as Gamespys’ latest Guild Wars 2 article on the botting issue.
hmm, i must have been fed some misinformation
but really, by “some reviews being retracted” you mean that one website made an one article that most people consider to be overzealous
better yet, this sounds like a very interesting idea for an mmo, though i doubt Anet would do this since the game is already made, make this into a new MMO.
about pirates
space pirates
space pirates with cannons.
and quaggan
Come on Anet, i really need this fixed
Also can everyone stop being such kitten with this carebear kitten and sarcasm, or are we not old enough to take constructive criticism without firing back verbal abuse?
I completely agree with this, this puzzle is hard enough without kitten that stand in one area for the entire day with arrow carts and wasting space in their server. if they don’t disable the ability to attack people in this, at least put in systems to prevent camping and ban siege equipment.
The general idea i get from this is, sure its a challenge and you should have to pvp to get the pvp badges, but how is it fun.
how is it fun to have the enemy team that currently has no structures have half their server in the jumping puzzle, not only knowing their only purpose is to be an kitten but that they also are contributing to their servers losing streak.
It not only hurts you, it hurts their server as well.
they should have the people in the jumping puzzle not count towards the 500 cap of WvW
Guys, you are not listening. It is not an NPC that you are looking for despite wiki saying it is. If you are at the (closed) door to Oolas lab then turn around, go back out side and turn to face the entry way. On the right is a circular panel. You use this to complete the skill quest.
it can’t be activated
Same Here, I’m really pissed because this is the last thing i need for map completion
Best Dungeon to ever grace the world, but magical pokey stick didnt have enoguh stats so 0 out of 10?

kittening really? guys please stop rating something based on stats rather than fun, all of us non robots here that enjoy having fun rather than stats are starting to get pissed. I’m so sorry that the reward for completing it didn’t give you an exotic and you had bad luck on a random drop chest but stop saying that this alone makes the dungeon bad.
“I expect quality at that price meaning bug free and hassle free. Now I do not expect the game to be bug free at release but I expect them to be fixed fast.”
If you expect all the bugs in an MMO to be fixed very fast, you’re gonna have bad time
MMO’s are some of the most complicated games to program and arenanet has done a great job fixing these bugs as fast as they can.
I was hoping to get opinions about what people think is an expected time frame. Instead it seems most people are kind of upset I even pose the question.
i would give it a month or two, just think about how long it took skyrim to get bug free, and that is from a triple a studio
I’ve bolded all the obvious examples of massive hyperbole in your post. Honestly, you seem so utterly convinced this game is bleeding players like a severed artery all over your new MMO carpet, so why are you even asking this sort of question?
How much communication do you want? For the first week of launch, they had a day-by-day State of the Game.
1.) There are a lot of players upset about DR. 2.) There are a lot of players who are leaving because of this (we don’t have numbers but the forums are lit up over it). 3.) The implementation of DR came unplanned post launch as a response by the game studio to a problem (broken system) that did not reveal itself in beta testing 4.) Most MMOs fail, even the great ones like SWTOR. When you look at all the data and try to figure out why that happens it generally falls back on things like item 3. The studio in panic mode throwing solutions at broken systems. And trying to just keep the water out the bottom deck with no resources to focus on new content. The worked very hard to create a great game and then in haste end up destroying it. This is how great MMOs die unfortunately and I would say that statement isn’t even a point to dispute you can see it time and time again. So my question is how long before we know…
I don’t ask because I hate GW2, I ask because I love this game and don’t want to see it happen. I’m not happy with ArenaNet’s communication post launch, but that is subjective.
1. what is DR
2. even if there are a lot of posts, there are over 2 million people playing the game, and not nearly that much complaining on the forums.
3. that is not true, their are plenty of mmos that are successful, just the subscription models (like SWOTOR) have failed mostly.
i hate this about new games, first people say that the developer is not updating enough to fix all the problems, and then complain about how the developer is rushing the updates and not thinking about how it impacts the game, make up your kitten mind.
At the present time the only way to get them is to buy the miniature packs(excluding the hall of monuments and collectors edition minis).
I wonder? will Anet do what they did in guild wars 1 and make them drop after a birthday and some minis you can get in game or will they mostly be only buy-able.
what do you guys think?
It’s easier to take people seriously when they don’t fake an accent. I’m British myself and we tend to define that accent as someone feigning being ‘posh’. Aside from that, if someone hasn’t actually gotten to the meat of a game they really shouldn’t be doing a review at all.
Alas, the days of in-depth reviews and research appears to be over in favour of everyone spewing out their thoughts about things they’re not familiar with.
Except that he isn’t really reviewing, he just prefers to point out all the problems with the game.
Also he is British, but lives in Australia.
if you’re done with the game then move on.
it’s obvious that you play this game like a checklist, which there is nothing wrong with, but if you get bored of a game then just stop playing it.
it’s really quite simple, if you enjoy raids so much than why not just go play another mmo that has raids.
sometimes you just do everything you can do in a game and you’re done with it.
same thing happened with me and guild wars 1, i got bored so i stopped playing, simple as that
