Guild Wars 2

Ive been playing GW2 on and off again since it started and now my two oldest son’s are giving it a shot. I am currently using all five of my character slots and I am on a server that shows full, my son’s started on a new server.
Once you’ve picked a server are you stuck to only playing on that server unless you transfer? I saw the guest for 24 hours but i’d need a long term solution to moving all my toons or at least 3 of them.
If i purchase another character slot can I pick a different server to play on?

I played first couple of months at release and played a variety of characters, couldn’t get any of my kids to play and I didn’t belong to a guild at the time so I stopped playing. I have started playing again in the last couple of weeks and I am enjoying myself, there are so many things new or that I just don’t remember about.

Looking for an Adult / Mature guild to join that has a decent amount of active players online either PST or EST. I’d like to experience dungeons, do some WvW and I’ve only seen 21% of the map so far. I enjoy hanging out helping with quests, running dungeons for fun/exp and I’ll have a lot of questions since I’m pretty much a new player.

On a personal note; I work full time, married w/ 4 kids and I spend my spare time playing games since I don’t really watch tv (that has a lot to do with the 4 kids). Currently enjoying GW2 and Diablo 3 since the new patch.
