I have a level 80 Mesmer and I was thinking about making a ranger because i enjoyed playing hunter in WoW was just wondering if it’s worth making one because it seems like a lot of people say they are worthless. I was also thinking about making a elementalist and cant decided between ranger or elementalist. Also I plan on doing WvW and maybe other pvp with friends. Any input is appreciated!

I was thinking about rolling a Mesmer but somewhere I read that Mesmer’s don’t have good damage and I was wondering if this is true or if Mesmer’s have high damage.
Since everything is so versatile what would be a good way to choose a profession
I took a very long break from Guild Wars 2 and with the new expansion coming out my friends were going to start playing again. I’ve been having a hard time figuring out what profession to pick. Can anyone give suggestions and what play style each profession fits?
