I must say I’m also from RoF and we (my guild [FFS] and I) love these outnumbered fights and we have been fighting our kitten of and having more fun in Silver L!!
The only thing that bothers me a bit is having the 5-10ppl que’s now (Ok they are not WOW kitten que’s but we came from having no que’s to having them in like 2 weeks since some guilds joined RoF since we where going from bronze to silver). And also the times where we run around with 15-20ppl and only find groups of 10-25ppl to fight against (unless they are a good guildgroup, they are more challenging and fun then the pug groups/zergs)
So yeah for the ppl on those overstacked servers it might not be fun or challenging. But for us it is, there is nothing more fun then being outnumbered 50-20 and still winning the fight. (doesn’t happen all the time but enough times).
So plz do not whine about other servers having more ppl and that it is hard to win, it is what makes it fun! I personally would rather play and fight on Vabbi then in the Gold League’s first and full stacked server.
I think this will hit WvW groupfighting mesmers a lot. Not running a PU build in groupfights is hard to survive but tnx to the vigor and a sigil of energy it is possible if you dodge right and a lot (well you are there mostly for the support, nullfield, veil, feedback, portal).
Now mesmers will have to play even more passive in these groupfights and stay in the back more (becoming a more easy target since you are standing more alone) and become an even more of a veil/nullfield/potal bot.
But for the overall PVE and sPVP mesmers this shouldn’t be to hard to deal with imo. (I’m not an active fractal runner or sPVP player so I can’t be sure about it. But since other classes manage, mesmers should also be able)
And btw in a wvw groupfight using blurred frenzy can’t always be used for good defence. Because if they stack retalliation (used a lot in those fights) you can easy kill yourself with it.
I think just a buff on the staff #1 atk would be nice (since staff is a great weapon for group fights). Maybe buff the scaling on normal dmg (not to much since it also gives condi’s) on the atk and buff the atk spd of it a bit (at max range you are lucky if they are still standing there when you projectile arrives, it is so slow).
I think this would help out a lot already since the staff #1 atk is a bouncing atk so it has some aoe and some nice buffs for allies. Because now the staff is almost to be used as a melee weapon since otherwise your projectiles will move so slow that the fight is over by the time they reach the enemy.
Other then that I think it should be fine, maybe buff the glamour confusion a little bit again (not a lot tho since we don’t want it to be OP again). Maybe make it 2 stacks instead of 1 or buff the dmg of 1 stack a little bit. Or maybe add a direct dmg tick to them instead? Because imo it is hard to buff the build while not making it OP again in wvw zergs but something should be done.
It still wouldn’t make sense, you could easy reapply the 2 condi’s cleared by the heal skill, and the other wouldn’t be able to remove it again ,unless he has some other skills for condi clear, that most do. But again you can easy reapply the condi’s.
I think as TyPin said should be good.
The +/- 40% condi duration food should be changed to +/-10% condi duration and let the others stay as they are at +15%.
+40% duration is to much in small scale fights (specially if you wouldn’t have a -40% duration like you suggested). I already now see warriors and guardians (who can condi clear well is most builds, not all builds tho) complaining about fighting necro’s. So your suggested change would make it even worse. This would make classes that don’t have a lot of access to condi clear never to be played again in small scale fights.
I played necro and I know that the difference between +40% all condi duration and +40% only one condi duration is a big deal. But without the food you can already go to 20-25 stacks easy (other ways of adding condi duration)
Why would you be allowed to keep the +40% duration food but others shouldn’t be able to use the -40% condi duration food? Do you want to make condi’s OP in small scale fights?
Was fun yesterday at BT bl.
Defending bay while going round the bl capping everything. Didn’t find to many fights tho but when we did they where fun! Tnx guys, we (FFS) hope to find some more nice fights with you guys.
Most fun fight was at ruins when they saw us coming and build an ac (and we where max 15ppl) xD To bad for them it didn’t help since we ran over them. Better luck next time
